Gotta Watch: Sleepy politicians

In light of Vice President Joe Biden's recent napping episode caught on cam here, we thought we'd dig up some of our best naptime videos featuring your favorite sleepy politicians.

Napping greatest hits – Our very own Jeanne Moos highlights political napping that goes back to the Reagan administration, when the president nodded off in front of Pope John Paul II, and Dick Cheney taking a snooze at a briefing.

Presidential REM – In all fairness, many of these sleepy lawmakers do work long hours. CNN's Jason Carroll looks back at presidential sleeping habits and gives some insight into why our politicians sometimes get caught with their eyes closed.

Budget Z's – Despite the hype over the California budget crisis, this hearing shows that clearly not everyone was interested.

Your Evil RACISM is self evident. Have your racist brains examined. You sound like you have very limited education or even sat at any university lecture classes to be lectured about the REALITIES of life and our responsibilities to each other. You care about Obama's bombings in Libya and you don't care about anything about Americans and its future course and direction? What are you? Some Trailer NUT?

Che-3: What an idiotic, non-sensical, stupid, moronic comment. Just where did you find racism in the comment to which you are relying? What are you looking in a mirror and don't like what you see? I personally think that people should have to have an IQ of at least the level of moron to post as that would apparently exclude you! Go peddle your racism comments at morons.com which is where they belong. I am just tired of people like you blaming the world for what they apparently see in the mirror.

Who doesn't doze off at work? Especially one that is practically a 24/7 job.

This is what politicos everywhere are most adapt at.
No one seriously believes that they really listen to what one of them is saying unless of course its about them. Or reads hundreds & sometime thousands of pages of a bill before waking up and shouting Yeah or No.
As for our venerated VP , isn't he the one who on a visit to Israel declared that he was a Zionist, while they were laughing at his back & doing exactly the opposite of what he went there for.
Now knowing that no American can ever be a Zionist, that statement must have been his first reaction, jolted out of a snooze.

I was once caught _________ing at work. It was very embarrassing.

CNN wouldn't let me post what I was really doing, but you get the idea.

I saw the Biden tape on the news this morning. I LMAO, not at biden, but the two ladies behind him! That one looks like she needed a pulse check...

Remember falling asleep during school during a dull movie or a particularly dull lecture? Same thing...but with a lot more riding on it than the history of the Khan family or what an ameoba looks like.
