Senate, House pass 2011 spending bill

The U.S. Senate on Thursday passed a budget deal worked out last week to keep the government funded for the rest of the fiscal year while cutting $38.5 billion.

The measure, which the House passed earlier in the day, now goes to President Barack Obama for his signature.

I am glad to see the Legislature can do its job and keep everyone paid, it is better for the country not to shut down the government. Now lets get on to the real issues, the 2012 budget and the Debt Limit Cieling. At least the "Tea Perty Congress" will do what needs to be done, Curtail the Federal Spending. My guess is not exactly how they would like too, but they will succeed in turning around run away spending.

Of course none of this is going to effect the D.O.D. If anything, they'll get the usual increase in expenditures as always. It goes to show how tight a grip the MIC(military-industrial-complex) has on our Congress and White House!!!
