Everybody seems to be still ignoring the proverbial "800lb. gorilla in the room",that is,all the unnecessary military spending and the three useless and unnecessary wars that we're currently engaged in. These nitwits still think that they can make up the difference by cutting social security and medicaid. If that won't be enough, then they'll cut education and road and bridge repair services. These ignoramuses!!!

Obama for re-election! Go green and say NO to Big Oil! Its going to take Obama some time to fix the 12 years of mistakes! Quick fixes will not work in the long run, you have to realy plan things out and make sure plans wont mess up other plans down the road.

What is with the Tea Party? The average American makes a lot less than 150k per year they are the one's being taxed. Police Personel, Fire fighters, teachers, grocery clerks, secretary's....but the tea party is against giving them healthcare, education, transportation....they are the one's paying the taxes! Not the Ron...Sarah...Rush....Donald....most of them are the one's who are benefiting – like most in public office & business. The Republican party has just kept the status quo- the rich get richer, the poor get poorer, what's left of the middle class becomes or stays the working class & gets the shaft! The Boston tea party was a sign that Americans' were tired of supporting the privileged and not; from benefiting from their work in this country! Also the US President has to have a security clearance right? So, his birth place was verified!! Can we please move on to reforming the tax laws? I sort of like the 10% or 20% for everyone and everything.

Well said,Rainy Days. But we need to quit fighting these three obnoxious wars too if we are to make any progress in balancing the national budget.

I believe it was JFK who gave a 6 digit gift to Egypt to be used for eradication of hunger in poverty areas of Cairo. Our tax money then got used to put a statue in Cairo square. This scandalous waste has just gotten worse.we have to take care of us, the usa first. Like a normal household, if there is anything left over then we go to the movies, get a pizza, etc. My family has had to contend with no treats for three years, losing their home, severe illness due to the local government not controling their buddies that pollute with really bad stuff. What is wrong with America. My list is long!

Re the comment about why Obama is disrespected? How about the fact that this budget deal included his doing away with four of the "czar" positions, to which he agreed. And after it was passed, and signed, he reneged on the deal. When you can't trust a man's word, you can't trust the man at all. Also, strange that it wasn't reported on any of the mainstream media. The man has been protected from the git-go, and most of the public knows little or nothing about his actions.

The mainstream press made a god of him, and don't want to report on his feet-of-clay.

  14. Common Sense

okay i just read the Us has donated over 10billion dollars in aid to somalia refugees but our own people (mainly the elderly and disabled) get screwed over cause we can't afford their social security anymore? what kind of country is this? let's try some common sense and a)quit funneling money into a bunch of wars that are going nowhere and b)quit donating hideous amounts of money to other countries every time they stick their hands out. Our nation is crumbling and most Americans are broke so why haven't our citizens pushed to put a stop to the idiocy? Africa better be glad im not president. The fact is there are too many people for the world's resources to support I say let them starve and save ourselves, and when OUR country is better THEN help with what we can. It's a dog eat dog world.
