Gotta Watch: Gas prices jump

Chances are like everyone else you're starting to see resentment at the pump. A gallon of gas is already almost $5 in Connecticut and the summer's not even here yet. While gas prices now border on the ridiculous, having the price raised while you're in the middle of filling up takes the cake.

Gas price jumped during pump – Motorist Robert Levulis got a huge shock when the pump stopped and the price changed while he was getting gas.

How high will gas prices go? – At a Connecticut gas station, gas prices have climbed to $4.99 per gallon, but you get a free drink when you pump.

2004: 86 cents a gallon gas – Doesn't this make you wish gas station owners would go back to the days of a dollar or less per gallon? In 2004 a Michigan gas station enticed customers with gas at 86 cents per gallon.

2006: Gas at 98 cents per gallon – Patrons of a special bank in Minnesota aren't sweating current gas prices.  At the First Fuel Bank in St. Cloud, Minnesota, customers deposit money and lock in gas prices today, hedging their bets against prices rising in the future.

Uh, hate to break it to ya folks...but for every dollar gouged per gallon of gas, there are 10 from plastic. We are the plasti-people. And the markup on natural gas used to heat your home is totally outrageous. Unheard of profit margins. But we like to drive cars and they know this. They are a symbol of our freedom, and they helped make it that way. So let's stop complaining and realize that gasoline is the real bargain. Even @ 10 bucks per gallon compared to what we pay for aforementioned. ["Baby, have ya got enuff gas, oh yeah Little Red Corvette, baby your much too fast. he he, song just popped into my head. sorry 'bout that.

Don't forget – Dec 2012 is just around the corner. In case you don't know what that means check the Mayan calender...Remember- the end of the world as we know it?

It has always been our enemies and groups like Alacaida and the like to bankrupt out country so they can just walk in and plant their flag and force totalatarian rule upon us.
One at a time they will take their turn, whether it be renegade rulers in Libya, Afganastan, Iran, Iraq and the rest, breaking us down until the USA falls like the Roman Empire.
I'd rather my hard earned TAX money be used for something more productive at home and let the MiddleEast fend for themselves... Don't forget they seem to be still caught up in that 1000 year war stuff. Are we going to bail them out for the next 1000 years?

Our politicians worry so much about whats going on in places we really have no justifiable reason to be meddling in their affairs, while violent street gangs, organized hate gangs, and radicalists murder and terrorize our law abiding citizens every day right here in our own country.
What say we round up all the gang members and put them on a one way ticket slow cargo plane to alcaida occupied and controlled Afganastan so they can do what they do best- KILL! since they seem to have nothing better to do and i'm sure our economy will return to normal!
