Gotta Watch: Donald Trump

As MSNBC has said, Donald Trump is to politics what Charlie Sheen is to entertainment. You want to watch him just to see what he says next. He keeps questioning President Obama's birthplace, but he gets annoyed when anyone presses him on his "birther" theory. Trump has been a media magnet for years, and now he's dangling the prospect of a potential presidential run. In today's Gotta Watch, we take a look at some of Trump's greatest hits.

'Birther' controversy - Trump says his strengths as a potential candidate like in his stance on "jobs, the economy, and protecting our nation from OPEC, China and all these other countries that are ripping us off." And yet, he complains that, every time he's on TV, he's asked about the theory that President Obama wasn't born in the U.S. Check out this feisty exchange between Trump and CNN's Ali Velshi and Kyran Chetry.

What's in a Trump name? - From "stupid" to "blatherside," so many in the media have their own way to describe Donald Trump. CNN's Jeanne Moos takes a look.

[cnn-video url="http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/offbeat/2011/04/20/moos.trumpathon.cnn"%5D

Donald Trump said what?? - Sometimes it seems as though Trump says anything that comes to his mind. And it's not always nice. As he eyes a possible presidential run, CNN.com dug up some of the more zany things the mogul has said over the years.

I love how hard CNN is trying to discredit Trump. They are so far in the pocket of Obama and unprofessionally biased it's just pathetic.

Donald Trump hasnt announced he will run at this point. When he declares he is a candidate, then he needs to be asked the tough question, until then CNN is just doing fluff pieces and as usual, when you listen to what CNN says, its like listening to Saturday Night Live, only its Saturday Night Live 7 x 24. Do you honestly use CNN as a source of real information or to the masses, the entertainment value it provides?

Since I couldn’t reply to your original and “classy” reply (“why I wasn't aborted”) that reflects your disturbing state of mind, I have to post it here:
If my mother had aborted me she would never be able to live on Hawaii and drive Carrera! I have achieved all that on my own without any inheritance, government subsidies or public employee/teacher’s union protection.
p.s. I bet you never received non-governmental paycheck in your life.

Two weeks ago, Donald Trump was someone who mildly irritated me, but today, I can't stand the man. This birther nonsense from him is very revealing, and what is being revealed is reprehensible. He should go on the road with Charlie Sheen - they could both stand up there on stage and insult the audience and brag incoherently about how much money they have.

Trump is great for the GOP.
He has all those traditional conservative family values they alway talk about.

Question – which has Trump done more of.
    (a) fiiled for bankruptcy
    (b) devorced his wife for for the next trophy wife

Trump is clearly using the "birther" issue for ratings. He's an idiot and was lucky his father was who he was. We will have no international respect if he ever became president. Heaven help us!

Lotta laughs in these post. Think about only one thing – politicians are the main reason this country is in such a bind (both financially and physically). Myabe, just maybe, it's time for the US to be ran as a business. Show a profit for a change and stop borrowing. If the government can keep writing checks with a zero bank balance, why can't the rest of the country do the same? Recession or depression, whatever, we are in deep do do.

IAs a Canadian, I think that Donald Trump would be terrible for the US as President. I think that Obama has given the world a new-found respect for the US, which would be taken away if Trump became President.
However, the video of the CNN reporters talking to Trump, made the reporters look bad and not Donald Trump. Reporters need to stick to what is important and not make issues out of things that have no revelance to Politics.
