Gotta Watch: Donald Trump
As MSNBC has said, Donald Trump is to politics what Charlie Sheen is to entertainment. You want to watch him just to see what he says next. He keeps questioning President Obama's birthplace, but he gets annoyed when anyone presses him on his "birther" theory. Trump has been a media magnet for years, and now he's dangling the prospect of a potential presidential run. In today's Gotta Watch, we take a look at some of Trump's greatest hits.
'Birther' controversy - Trump says his strengths as a potential candidate like in his stance on "jobs, the economy, and protecting our nation from OPEC, China and all these other countries that are ripping us off." And yet, he complains that, every time he's on TV, he's asked about the theory that President Obama wasn't born in the U.S. Check out this feisty exchange between Trump and CNN's Ali Velshi and Kyran Chetry.

You know, I can't help but wonder what other nations will think of America if this guy runs for President. People will be thinking we've all gone off the deep end, if they don't think that already. What a joke this has all become!
Trump has only one agenda, which is to make himself more money.
Trump will do anything to get the camera to point at him so he can sell another mattress. Why are we wasting so much time talking about a guy who seeks fame and power for his own good, just like Sheen. There is this Chinese saying. "One who praises the high and trashes the low".

Wow! I thought reporters were supposed to report the news, not try to corner someone into saying something they aren't ready say. What's with CNN forcing it's sources into revealing information? What kind of new organization badgers it's interviewee's? I won't do this until you do that...what the hell!!!!! Cnn is going down hill...and it's not just one cnn reporter it's 2 of them backing each other up. You know I'd like to hear what else Trump has to say. Maybe his other ideas are even more stupid and we don't need him to talk about the birther bill....But NO Cnn is playing some kind of mind game

The media needs to stop telling us about him as it is only putting more money on his pocket. the more controversial he is the more his show and his business increases, the reality of the world we live in and we should put an end to this by not allowing people like him to take advantage of the things we cherich which is free press and free media and use it to their advantage.

Someone please help me out here? I am having a very hard time distinguishing between Ronald McDonald and Donald Trump. Both have orange wigs. And both are clowns. From there, I can't come up with any differences to tell me who is who.
Oh wait, now I remember. Donald Trump is that megalomanic, self-absorbed, lunatic, reality show joke, ignoramus clown. He's the guy who doesn't require the media to trash him. He does that very capably, himself. He runs around spouting off lunatic, conspiracy theories and when asked a real question, can't answer it. He's a billionaire, who rents out his land to people like gaddafi to pitch their big nasty tents on.
Yes, it's all clear now. Trump is that real estate mogul. He's been investigated by the Securities and Exchanges Commission for making misleading statements, filed for bankruptcy numerous times. He's the guy Deutsche Bank noted in court that 'Trump is no stranger to overdue debt' and that he has twice previously filed for bankruptcy with respect to his casino operations.
He's a reality tv star. That, in itself, speaks volumes about the Frump.

Have you all noticed that the lame stream media reports on this maniac because it's
easier and cheaper than reporting on the actual news.
As far as how much money he has goes, that really comes into question when examining his bankruptcies. No doubt he can "scare up" big sums, but the real financial giants have no faith in his ability to repay loans.

@APerson – If money is the way you measure someones worth, then obviously you have no problem considering yourself a slave to likes of Trump. If money rules everything, you would be sold in open market just like cows and goats, if people like Trump take over nations. Every reasonable mind knows that this guy is doing all this to increase his ratings of the show and bargain for more for the next contract – which is very typical of him. This guy was booted out of his own board where he owned a stake. You are talking about making him President. Character of a person is more important than anything else in this world. You need money to buy yourself things that perish.

OK, Hardworking, let's talk about the content. That includes his statement that he would only attack Libya if we could keep their oil. I assume that means you would support a president who is willing to have our soldiers die for oil. Then there's the one about talking tough to the Saudis to bring down our gas prices. He obviously doesn't know that most of our oil imports come from Canada; do you? This guy is a blowhard, just looking for attention and feeding his already oversized ego. Unfortunately, there are too many like you that are easily had, which is preventing us from having an adult discussion about what our problems are and how to address them.
Take some bets to see if Trump will actually run or not, and be prepared to lose, he will not run at all. Or maybe him an Palin would make a good team, LOL. Two blow hards, pardon the pun, Mrs Todd Palin. Maybe she does blow hard. LOL.

He is a GENIUS. He owes money on the assets he "owns" and yet remains a billionaire.
He runs a show of management apprentices, where his show breaks all the rules of efficient and proper people management and his show had been a chart topper.
He runs businesses to the ground and investors lose money investing in him, and yet he runs away scot free with some more money.
He "owns' loss making businesses whose investors are threatened by the likelihood of losing more money if they disinvest.
His business philosophy, as propagated in his show, is that you are good business person if and only if you know how to exploit and extract financial and positional gains for yourself regardless of the state and future of the business and the community of investors.
He is indeed a GENIUS and runs his organization efficiently and effectively, where he and his children are the only members of that organization.
Yeah, he's never declared PERSONAL bankruptcy, but four huge projects he headed did, of course,providing him with plenty of protection, but leaving his investors interests and investments in shambles. He was booted from each project by the boards of directors. Then recently, he's defaulted on a $40 million loan, blaming it on the "poor economy" and then went to court to have the "poor economy" declared an act of God. Combine this with his unbelievably dumb birther stance and you've perhaps a typical candidate, but not a desirable one.
