Gotta Watch: Born in the USA

After years of speculation and several major media outlets debunking claims, President Obama moved to put rumors about his birth certificate to bed by releasing the long-form document. While this may quiet some of the noise from some so-called "birther" conspiracy theorists, it may not be enough for others. In today's gotta watch we take a look at some of the most vocal "birthers" and their years-long quest to see Obama's birth certificate. And if you're still not sure what all the stink is all about, we've got a cheat sheet here.

The born conspiracy? – "Birther" movement leader Orly Taitz has been very vocal about her doubts concerning the president's birth place. She even took the issue to a California court. She said her goal was to find out if Obama was U.S. citizen and to hold a special presidential election if he wasn't.

"Birther" solider refuses deployment – One soldier adamantly refused his deployment orders, saying Barack Obama wasn't born in America and therefore ineligible to be president and give military orders. The soldier claimed there was "significant evidence" Obama wasn't born in Hawaii.

"Birther" outburst – Here, a "birther" only dubbed as "The Interrupter" cries out during the congressional reading of the constitution, earning her a place on the Ridiculist.

What's the next issue for "birthers"? – You guessed it, President Obama's grades. Anderson Cooper digs in with info about the president's education, but we're guessing the next documents to be unearthed will be his report cards.

    Birthers should be just slither away, the way Palin has – and stay away. And that goes for that over-blown, ego-maniacal, factually-challenge Mr. Trump. Can we move on to something that is useful to the country? Or to my dog?

    Donald Trump needs to worry about hisself,trying to sleep with every woman,been in bankruptcy more than anyone,anyone who wants someone to fogus on someone else that is because he has something to hide,someone needs to investigate him and see what his life is all about,and buy him a better wig,he has all that money and he still looks like poor trash,now u look like a fool,if i was obama i would not have showed anything to all of u racists,so what is next that u need his education,what do u think black ppl r not intelligent,all who was worried about his birth certificate ,u all need to get a life and worry about what is important,and wonder why God is so angry with us,cant u see God has taken over that is why he is destroying things,to wake everyone up,so we can work together instead of fighting all the time,quit trying to hurt obama and help him run the country and u all will see that God will stop all the destroying.lol

    Try to keep up now ....He produced what Hawaii provides to ALL it's citizens the certificate of live birth. It was notarized by a republican and submitted as valid proof of birth. The long form oractual birth certificates are filed away. The current registrar (also a republican asked to view it because she wanted proof and stated she saw it. NOW ... the new issue ..... his high scool grades ..... LOL give me a break!. The man graduated HARVARD college with HIGH honors! I wish this kind of scrutiny had been applied to past presidents that graduated college with a C average and bankrupted companies.

      Not that I disagree with your sentiments, but the current registrar (Alvin Onaka) is not a Republican. He's been in the position for well over a decade with both Republicans and Democrats as Governor of Hawaii.

      Are you confusing the Director of Health with the Registrar? In that case the current one was brought in by the current Democratic Governor. The former Director of Health was Republican – appointed by a Republican Governor.

YOU'RE FIRED! your about the biggest idiot i have seen on tv in years anyways..us lower class people who are really hurting will really be screwed if he becomes president in 2012 cause you know for a fact all the wealthy people will get tax breaks and well be screwed more! im not a fan of any one of them but hell give the man a break i mean if trump was in office im sure we'd all be dead by now!
