Pakistan arrests dozens in connection with bin Laden compound

Dozens of people in the Pakistani city of Abbottabad have been arrested because of their suspected connections to the compound where Osama bin Laden was shot and killed, a Pakistani intelligence official said Friday.

Some of the individuals were arrested around the compound and investigators still need to determine if any of the people arrested have any connection with al Qaeda.

This story is developing. We'll bring you the latest information as soon as we get it.

Pakistan was milking both sides of the cow. Now half of the cow is at the bottom of the sea so they have to figure out a way to pump up the milk from the other half of the cow and trust me, the USA willl find a way to give them more milk. I say sour the milk.

Why would they marry a cow if they're getting the milk for free? Or something like that.

And aren't cows sacred? Don't they milk goats? Or something like that.

Isn't that like closing the bar door after the cows have escaped?

Man, talk about tying to cover some butt. Like Cooper said, Pakistan has got some explaining to do. I'd like to see them try to spin this one.

The Pakistanis will do anything at the behest of the right-wing thugs in Washington in order to get our foreign aid money. None of this shoud be surprising since we own that country lock, stock and barrel!!!

Was Osama supported by Paki ISI?

Well, ask the other way. IF Osama didn't have any ISI support, would he be really that stupid to live a mile away from the military base camp? No chance - whatever you say, Osama wasn't that stupid.

I bet that's just a lie, another fat lie. OBL was seen playing golf in a Florida retirement community. They are arresting innocent Pakistanis just to make it look real. It's all a hoax, but the threat is real. Or at least OBL's golf game is. I am so confused about what's going on. Sarah, Glen, Rush, can't you tell us what's going on?

Well, now that we found and killed Osama Bin Loser, the Pakistani's figure there's no point continuing to hide/harbor the rest of the terrorists they know about. Interesting. Expect to see news about more high level Al'Qaeda operatives/leadership being captured/killed in the coming days/weeks.

We should be able to be in Pakistan questioning the family and also to go through the residence they caught him in. If Pakistan is really trying to work with us they would allow this. But ?????

If the Pakistanis are looking for people to arrest in connection with hiding/protecting bin Laden, they can walk up the street to their intelligence HQ and then, a little farther on, to the military academy.
