Pakistan arrests dozens in connection with bin Laden compound
Dozens of people in the Pakistani city of Abbottabad have been arrested because of their suspected connections to the compound where Osama bin Laden was shot and killed, a Pakistani intelligence official said Friday.
Some of the individuals were arrested around the compound and investigators still need to determine if any of the people arrested have any connection with al Qaeda.

Pakistan doesn't have the capability to deliver a nuclear warhead to the continental united states. They're best delivery system is limited to around 2500 km, which is a little under halfway to alaska.
Pakistan doesn't need to get their missles over here, just over the border where 100,000+ U.S. Troops are. Think about it. Retaliate? They don't care they are radicals with 72 virgins awaiting their glorious sacrifice.

I'm seeing comments about countries not having ICBM capability to reach the U.S. Firing a missle through the air is only one delivery method. Another is via submarine. Another is sneaking it in and detonating it manually. Just because a country is thousands of miles from the U.S. doesn't mean they can't detonate a nuclear weapon over one of our coastal cities easily.

You are an idiot! Pakistan does not have the capability to deliver a nuclear weapon to the US nor would they want to. Pakistan has been our ally in every war up to and including the war on terror. We help them keep Inida at bay. They help by providing intel and one of the most governments in the region. Some in Pakistan knew Bin Laden was at Abottabad but that does not mean the ISI or other government officials knew. As far as the Pakistani government is concerned, they suspected Bin Laden was in Waziristan. Bin Laden pulled off one of the oldest tricks in the books and that was to hide in plain sight. So Pakistan is not going to attempt to engage the US in military action, both countries will smooth this over and they will continue the decades long cooperation.

Of course within Pakistan, things are different...the people, the govt, the military and the ISI , all have different agendas. But that is a whole other discussion in itself. I am not sure that even if Pakastan wanted to bomb us they could. We have a large portion of out military there or sitting in Afghanistan. Furthermore, India, our ally is not too cozy with Pakistan, basically they will have to fight two front if they launch an offensive against America. I am not defending the killing of ANY civilian; however, lest us not forget the 2,700 civilians that were killed on our soil. Basically, there is no RIGHT answer. Just packing up and leaving isn't right, nor is launching an all out assault on the people of Afghanistan and Pakistan. Interesting times we are living in....

India may be a poor country but it is the largest democracy. Even a Muslim or a Lady could be the President. Poverty is not the birth right of anyone; It can change. More or less the same ethnic mixture in both the countries. How ever the religion makes the difference. Mullas keep Pakistan in this condition.
