Blasts kill at least 70 in northwest Pakistan

Twin explosions targeting recruits at a military training facility in northwest Pakistan killed at least 70 people and injured 30 others, police said.

One of the explosions was a suicide blast, while the other was a planted bomb, according to Nisar Khan Murrawat, the police chief of the Charsadda district. Some 65 of the dead are believed to be military recruits, the police chief said.

The back to back explosions Friday morning took place shortly after scores of recruits left the Shabqadar Fort, a training facility in the district of Charsadda, said Jahan Zeb Khan, a senior police officer.

    Indeed more muslims are being killed by these anti-Islam terrorists of Al Qaeda & Talibans on a daily basis than any one else. 80 innocent people killed mercilessly just yesterday.Its horrific.
    But perhaps we Americans don't consider those even 'people'.
    If we in America care to learn, its the Pakistanis who are suffering the most by siding with us in this war against Al Qaeda. Pakistan being the front line state in this war bears the brunt.

    But those ignorant thugs up on the Hill who can't even pin point these countries on a map would continue with their diatribe against those who chose to side with us. That it goes against America's interest should be obvious to even an idiot.
