U.S. imams arrested, accused of helping Pakistani Taliban

Two South Florida imams and a third family member were arrested Saturday on charges of providing support to the Pakistani Taliban, the Justice Department said.

Three others in Pakistan also were indicted on the same charges.

The four-count indictment alleges that all six defendents conspired to provide material support to a conspiracy to kill, injure and kidnap people abroad, and that they provided support to the Pakistani Taliban.

Yeah, I wonder if these guys got a green card to get into the U.S.?
If they did, it's a shame they missed out on that lottery.

Imans are those that are extemely faithful to the Muslim religion. And given that there are four others indicted in Pakistan on the same charges in the same case, chances are they are foreign.

I am off "to business," as some persons say in my city: any postings under "Joey" will have been written by Hagen, who will never have the gold.

Seriously, my green card comment above was somewhat tongue in cheek. But, how are these guys even allowed in the country? Is it because they are shielded under the guise of being Muslim holy men? They say the biggest threat now is these "home grown" terrorists. It makes me wonder, how many of these characters are living next door.....

I'm tellin ya, the term 'home grown' refers to terrorists born here. American citizens. They can get their long forms if necessary.

Obviously, criminals are born here. Their religion, or how they seek fame or power, is kind of irrelevant.

Joey, I'm not your troll or Hagen. But, why are you so obsessed with him. The Rhinemaidens killed that little backstabber a long, long time ago. And he didn't get the gold.

Look at this Qaedy in Yemen, the American – bin laden's num 3 or something.. The religion's certainly been here long enough for muslims to have been born here. Even mature extremist ones.

It'll come out sooner or later. Mornin', banasy.
