U.S. imams arrested, accused of helping Pakistani Taliban

Two South Florida imams and a third family member were arrested Saturday on charges of providing support to the Pakistani Taliban, the Justice Department said.

Three others in Pakistan also were indicted on the same charges.

The four-count indictment alleges that all six defendents conspired to provide material support to a conspiracy to kill, injure and kidnap people abroad, and that they provided support to the Pakistani Taliban.

@leeintulsa, yes, that makes more sense. Most of them could be young guys (in early twenties) who were born on U.S. soil and that get recruited from the outside. Hence, the "home grown" terrorist term makes a bit more sense.

    Hello, DETAILS:
    I enjoy your posts.
I never thought that you highjacked me.
I wanted to give a name to the troll who frequently uses my name, so "Hagen" seemed fitting.
Hagen often appears as the fake "Cesar."
    Everybody needs a name–even a troll.

Anyone find it strange that the Justice Department is arresting people for "conspiracy" yet this same Jusstice Department totally refuses to prosecute the Saudi officials and businessmen who financed the 9/11 attacks?
Also, isn't this the same Justice Department that intervened to bar all civil lawsuits against these same people who
    financed 9/11. Strange?
