Official: Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, 9/11 conspirators to be re-charged for tribunal

The Pentagon will announce Tuesday that charges against Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four other alleged co-conspirators in the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks are being refiled to allow prosecution before a military tribunal at the Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, naval base, a defense official confirmed.

The move comes after the Obama administration dropped plans to prosecute the suspects in federal court in New York.

Besides Mohammed, the other suspects to face charges of participating in the 9/11 plot are Walid bin Attash, Ramzi bin al-Shibh, Ali Abdul Aziz Ali and Mustafa Ahmed al-Hawsawi. All five are at Guantanamo.

    @joey nice meeting you as well. I like all kinds of music I still remember when I first heard Maynard Ferguson (forgive sp if incorrect) and of Miles... my favorite music is when the musician and instrument hit that place where they become `one` so to say) Anita Baker does that with her voice.     Obviously the Israeli and American governments are honest and straightforward. It's the Iran's and the Venezuela's that lie and cover-up. An Israeli leader wouldn't lie to you anymore than your banker would. Even if he's Jewish. The USA and Israel are quite possibly the only two nations in history with governments that are honest. Why would anyone think otherwise?
