Unborn child has Facebook profile

Unborn baby Marriah Greene has a lot to say, at least according to her Facebook profile.

The child attends Tummy University, enjoys soccer and swimming and talks in first person. And her friends talk back to her– in baby-speak, naturally.

Of course, it’s really her mother, Ellie Greene of Whitehouse, Texas, updating the page, but the fetus already has more than 260 friends.

When Ellie and her husband, Matt, decided it was time to announce their pregnancy, they wanted a quick, inclusive method, and what’s faster than Facebook to spread exciting news?

“Within a day she had over 100 friends,” Ellie said, according to affiliate KLTV.

Friends quickly responded to updates about Marriah. They give advice, make jokes and compliment her beauty in the ultrasound photos.

“We wanted to keep the page going, so she could go back and look at it,” Ellie said, giving her daughter the opportunity to see how many people adored her before she was even born.

The parents plan to continue updating the page, with her birth story coming soon. After all, “The word in the belly is there's a lot more to see.”

Well Joey. If things keep going your way, before long you'll be able to legally marry that doberman of yours.

None of my comments above should be construed as an advocacy of REQUIRING any woman in this country to have an abortion, although such a policy is functioning very well in China, from whom we now have to borrow money.

China's policy has come back to haunt them though hasn't it? They now have thousands upon thousands of men who can't find a wife [because they chose a boy under the 1 child policy] They have thousands and thousands of old people with no daughter to look after them in old age.
You meddle with nature and she'll bite you on the butt – BIG TIME!

My cat has over 100 friends on FB.. and the page was set up to show how easily anyone on the site will add friends. It was a pathetic social experiment, that had resulys much like those of the fets page. Maybe my cat will add your fetus as a friend..

    @ Uncle Sam:
    I wouldn't marry my Doberman.
I'd have to get a divorce first (expensive), and the dog doesn't make enough money to pull her share of the household expenses.
She does, however, "honor and obey" me perfectly, so thank you for the suggestion.

This is hardly unique as I've had friends do it with the same results, they just didn't feel the need to report it to a news station.

Ho hum. They aren't the first. Hell, my twins have their own Twitter and they are 4 months old. They've had it since 8 weeks old. Tons of soon-to-be-moms are opening their unborn kids Twitters and Facebooks. This is news here now? I saw one at least 2 years ago!

  15. Stupid Story

I can understand the parents being so excited about their child......but this is just ridiculous. It makes be wonder what else the parents will force this child through as she is growing up. Make her compete in child beauty pagents? I'm betting yes!
