Gotta Watch: Daddy's surprise

Father’s Day is that one day a year where families pause and honor dear ol’ dad. If you want to give him the best day possible, make sure it’s filled with gifts, breakfast in bed and perhaps a few surprises. But who are we kidding? When it comes to surprises, no one does it better than dad. While we celebrate our fathers, let’s take a moment to watch some of the more heartwarming surprises our military men have given their families.

A special present – Daniel Fragoso returned from Afghanistan just in time for his daughter's birthday. Hoping to erase the memory of his absence, he opts for a human-size present she would never expect.

A Christmas miracle – While stationed in Afghanistan, Raymond Ropa traveled thousands of miles to surprise his boys in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, working with friends, the military and even Santa, to make sure the mission was a success. Sgt. Ropa talked with HLN”s Richelle Carey about how he was able to pull it off.

A school surprise – Returning from a year of duty, Jeffrey Parks embraces his wife at the airport then is whisked off to surprise his son at school. No fancy tricks or props here, just a pleasant reminder that a simple hug is enough for those who have missed you.

Tears of joy – Here’s one father, with camera crew in tow, who can’t wait to surprise his daughter and show her how much he’s loved and missed her. Be forewarned, this touching reunion will certainly leave you misty eyed.

    Well, Happy Father's Day, Ruffie!
    That's cool as hell!
I'm betting you are a fun Dad yourself!

I never wished the curse on my older daughter, but when my granddaughter was born, she looked just like my daughter when she was born, and she acts just like my daughter did as a baby....
All of my kids were good babies, but later....

    Bwa ha ha ha ha!!!!
    What goes around comes around!

actally it was worse... he went down the street and to the neigbors driveway and started circleing their kids.(their kids 3 and 5 ) and i could hear their dad say.."just stay away from him" so i had to run down the street and yank the wire to the battery and make him go home... course he was screaming the whole way home and made me look bad 🙁

That didn't really happen, did it?

Why didn't you just steer him in the right direction?

We have a couple of them in our neighborhood; I'm moving before these little demons actually are old enough to get their licenses!

CAUSE.. it's the power wheell that is shaped like a cab over truck... the steering whell is hard to grab from the outside and he wouldn't let me help anyways... he would slap my hand and say " i can do it myself i no need help"
