Severe weather causes flight delays in Chicago

Severe weather is causing travel problems in the Chicago area.

O'Hare International Airport is reporting departure delays as much as 2 hours long. Arrival traffic is experiencing airborne delays of 15 minutes or less.

The airport also announced the cancellation of 350 flights.

Flights were delayed up to 2 hours at Chicago's Midway Airport due to rain and thunderstorms. Thirty flights were canceled at that airport.

More than 300,000 Commonwealth Edison customers in Chicago and its suburbs lost power, company officials told CNN. A company spokesman said crews are working to restore power, but it could take days to return service to all customers.

Good. Maybe the rain will keep the criminals inside. Everyone from Illinois is a criminal.

Ronald Reagan was a great president.
His handling of unions was wonderful.

Most of Reagan's ardent supporters claim that he's still acting. Acting like he's dead. (but the knuckleheads will tell you that he is alive and in heaven. no, I didn't just make this up to poke fun at Joey. It's true!) he he

I'm not sure that Ronald Reagan was an actor.
    He was a movie star.
That's not the same thing at all.
If Reagan is acting dead, he's playing that role convincingly so far.
If he'd been able to do what he did with the air-traffic controllers' union all the way through other unions, we might be in better economic shape, still retaining some of our jobs here.

What did Reagan do for air traffic controllers? Teach them how to act like they're still awake? Authorize no-doz? I really do not recall. I remember other stuff about Reagan. Arms for hostages and acting like he ordered Berlin's wall to fall down. Stuff like that. Oh, and alzhiemers/mad-cow.
