China releases rights activist

Chinese authorities have released activist Hu Jia, his wife posted Sunday on Twitter.

"On a sleepless night at 2:30, Hu Jia arrived at home. Safe, very happy. Needs to rest for a while. Thanks to each of you," Zeng Jinyan wrote in the tweet.

Hu had written a series of stories denouncing the human rights situation in China ahead of the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, the group Human Rights Watch said.

He also has been active on AIDS issues in China.

I adore Noam Chomsky and listened to him when he came here to UCCS. (University of Colorado, Colorado Springs) I believe he has one of the sharpest minds ever. Sadly most Americans have never even heard of him. But you have! 🙂

Why would USA citizens believe anything but the Bible or a flag?
You can't tell us it's just about oil and money: that wouldn't be "right."
Read your Bible: "...the love of money is..."
    It's all about the Holocaust.

I would like to remind people that the opinions expressed here are merely that; opinions.

Condescension is such an unattractive trait.
