Libyan soccer players join the rebels

Seventeen prominent soccer players in Libya have defected to the rebels, opposition spokesmen said Saturday, in another setback to the county's embattled leadership.

They arrived in the rebel stronghold of Zintan in western Libya Saturday afternoon to cheering crowds that greeted them with celebratory gunfire and smiles. Players posed with locals and briefly batted a soccer ball between their heads.

"I am telling Colonel (Moammar) Gadhafi to leave us alone and allow us to create a free Libya," goalkeeper Juma Gtat told BBC News earlier in the town of Jadu.

    I want my guns!
    Also, BTW, in my Manhattan apartment, the only TV set is sitting in a closet.
    The addicted 16-year-old girl probably won't see it, and she'll grab something else to keep her out of withdrawal before she gets tired and takes a vacation in detox and rehab before going back to the corner.

    Immitation being the sincerest form of flattery, I like you too Joey. When I post as Jony Igotta-Fazzolli (he he) it's not "trolling" you! It's engageing you! I've read literally hundreds of your posts since you first arrived here Joey, and have enjoyed most all of them. We don't see eye-to-eye, but who does? Blind people. And you are farrrrr from being blind Joey. You have yes that can see, but your vision is still a little blurry. (lit. and fig. ha-ha!) Think of me as a pair of glasses hooked-up to some binoculars attatched to a telescope pointing at what's really going on. That's me. That's what i'm here for...to vent the stench that i have found over the years, and see who can still smell it.

    @Jazzy...I see you. We do ammend laws Jazzy. But we keep bending them down instead of making them stand-up stronger. example: laws that have been violated and ignored for so long, we cave-in to the lawbreakers and suit the laes to THEIR needs, rather than the needs of our nation. If too many people ignore and violate laws regarding illegal drug use or sodomy, in order to placate this growing bloc of voters, the laws are changed or downgraded. Quite the opposite purpose of law needless to say.

    ...or find myself reitired to a homeland security prison FEMA camp. If so, I hope they retire me to the one in Tacoma, the first homeland security prison built with the inceased prison funding congress approved not long after 9/11, the largest prison funding increase in our history. Said for housing the "tens of thousands of terrorists' they planned on arresting, but aren't those at gitmo? My daughter lives in Seattle ya know. Maybe she'll visit.

    I hope that they can get this resolved, and soon.

    If the soccer players can help, good.

    As for JIF, Phil, and Jazz, and all the rest of the regs: I like you all.

    There. Does that make you guys feel warm and fuzzy inside?

    @Sunshine*Girl:
    I read all of the posts that were written by "Troll" Jazzzzzz about the queen bs; I will say it again:
    That was a troll. It wasn't Jazzzzz. She has much more respect for people than that; the trolls like to try and cause discord.
    Don't let them.
    See you on the Marquee boards!

    Starting new to twitter can be iiiamndittng but when you genuinely utilize it as the powerful marketing tool it can be it will certainly pay off in the long run. I think twitter is a exceptional way to drive traffic to your site.
