We all know what happens when wars and diseases break-out. People die. What do you think would happen if there were an outbreak of peace and wellness? (besides extending unemployment benefits for doctors and warmongers i mean)

Really. How would we handle a peaceful world with wellness breaking-out in one place after another. There is a simple reason why you have never thought about this: deep down inside, we all know it's not going to happen, and so we don't even consider preparing ourselves for it. Our governments continue to prepare us for war, not peace. Our doctor's continue to prepare us for sickness, not wellness. Big-gov and Big-pharma deal in wars and drugs...not peace and wellness. If peace and wellness are to ever come about, they'll have to find their way around politicians and doctors to get here.

Philip: Where there is reverence for LIFE there is Peace. That only takes a conscious decision to make it so. Easy enough but too many financially profit from war, so the greedy would continue to impose conflict. Wellness, is something that would be wonderful too, but until (again) the greedy stop profiting from illness and suffering, the cost of cures will be out of reach for most people.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if Obama decided to postpone the withdrawal of our troops from Afghanistan, using the attack in Kabool for an excuse. Those right-wing thugs will do almost anything to keep that stupid war going!!!

JAZZZZZZZ: I get the impression our troops will be coming home to calm potential civil unrest that might be in our future here in the states, as the economy worsens. – Funny how we have one president and one government and they cannot manage the country's economics ... instead, selling out our jobs via NAFTA years ago, spending money on things that amount to zero result via special interest groups and bureaucrats, imposing restrictions on things that would serve humanity well, while opening doors to pandora's nightmares over the years, and telling Bernanke to just keep printing money that we cannot back by anything anymore. The Debt Ceiling ... is a joke. We need real solutions with tangable results, not more debt that no one can ever repay.
