Gotta Watch: Judging Casey Anthony case

It's the capital murder case that's held our attention this summer. But has the prosecution proved beyond a reasonable doubt that Casey Anthony intentionally murdered her daughter? The jury is beginning their deliberations today, and now it's your chance to weigh in. You've gotta watch the most pivotal moments from the defense and prosecution and judge for yourself whether Casey Anthony is guilty or innocent.

Prosecuting Casey Anthony – The state of Florida contends Casey Anthony cared more about partying and having a fun life than being a mother. It's her motive for murder, according to prosecutors. They paint her as a liar trying to live the good life at the expense of her daughter.

Defending Casey Anthony – The defense brought molestation allegations against Casey Anthony's father and brother during the trial. It pointed to George Anthony as the real culprit behind the toddler's death and cover-up. Most importantly, Casey Anthony's defense team relied upon the fact that Caylee Anthony's cause of death is undetermined. It believes that's the real reason there's not enough evidence to convict the Florida mother of murder.

Caylee died at the hands of Casey. The question is was it premeditated?

While this is undoubtedly a media circus and every lawyer participating is very conscious of their career, the important issue is the guilt or innocence of Casey Anthony. And what she is guilty of. She is undoubtedly minimally guilty of some complicity in her daughter's death, and a cover up of the death and lying to the police, which in the eyes of the law is the same as murder. The exact time and manner of death may never be known. Her defense is laughable and desperate. Do I think she is guilty of direct murder? Yes, but I am not certain the prosecution has proved it.

Prosecution manipulated testimony and evidence and for that reason she should be found not guilty. Whether she is guilty or not we Americans cannot stand for that kind of corruption in our courtrooms.

But then again, I say that without having watched the case or read many news reports about it. Still, it's my gut feeling about this case.

I do not approve of the death penalty! However, what are we supposed to do with people that are capable of this crap? OMG, there were nights when my two children were young that I could not sleep, that I could not think. I survived! I cannot imagine killing my child. I hope she rots in hell.

James 4:11 Brothers, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against his brother or judges him speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it.

i believe the constant lies and deceptions done by casey shows her desperate attempts to hide her tracks with the goal of delaying or hoping that the body was never found. the vehicle that she abandoned, the nanny that never existed, what logical explanation is there for this other than that it is a lie? the body was found to have been decomposing for roughly 6 months. where were caley's grandparents cindy and george during this time frame? why did they never insist on seeing her or at least talking to her over the phone? knowing how much they babysat caley would make you think they knew how incompetent their daughter was and should of suspected something sooner. at the very least the jury should find casey guilty and sentence her to lifetime in prison without the possibility of parole.

Compare to the OJ Simpson case, there they had DNA evidence, blood spatter, a timeline for the murder, rock solid motive, witnesses, OJ's clothing with blood on it, and the murder weapon. Yet – he was found not guilty.

Here, they have NOTHING. They just have wild speculation based on finding a skeleton with some duck tape on it.

Oh, and we all know that OJ was innocent and framed by the police. In this case the police didn't do enough to frame her, I think. If they had I think this case would have been easier to watch.

GUILTY, GUILTY AND MORE GUILTY. This creature is guilty beyond a shadow of a doubt. She shows absolutly no remorse. Her "tears" if there indeed are any are for herself. She is a hideous monster who deserves death.

31 DAYS people. 31 days and report to NO one in 31 days that her daughter was missing. If she get off on a lesser charge it is because she is a white female, period. The evidence is THERE. Caylee's dead body, Casey testimony that Caylee had been missing for 31 days and the lies about the welfare of her daughter when questioning.

everyone knows she s guilty , however im surprised they didnt have any more solid proof
then they did. a lot of holes in the prosecutors case. and the defense done a good job of showing that.
i bet she walks if the jury goes by the book. sad to see a murdere walk just because you cant prove it 100%
they had way more proof on OJ and he walked free,
