Gotta Watch: Judging Casey Anthony case

It's the capital murder case that's held our attention this summer. But has the prosecution proved beyond a reasonable doubt that Casey Anthony intentionally murdered her daughter? The jury is beginning their deliberations today, and now it's your chance to weigh in. You've gotta watch the most pivotal moments from the defense and prosecution and judge for yourself whether Casey Anthony is guilty or innocent.

Prosecuting Casey Anthony – The state of Florida contends Casey Anthony cared more about partying and having a fun life than being a mother. It's her motive for murder, according to prosecutors. They paint her as a liar trying to live the good life at the expense of her daughter.

Defending Casey Anthony – The defense brought molestation allegations against Casey Anthony's father and brother during the trial. It pointed to George Anthony as the real culprit behind the toddler's death and cover-up. Most importantly, Casey Anthony's defense team relied upon the fact that Caylee Anthony's cause of death is undetermined. It believes that's the real reason there's not enough evidence to convict the Florida mother of murder.

Guilty on all accounts! She should get the death penalty. What mother shows such disregard to her missing/dead child? who had something to do with it.

I personally think she is guilty. Jose Baez was in a tough position and did his best I believe (although his opening statements hurt his credibility). One of two things happen: 1.) She is convicted but only gets life. 2.) Hung jury. All it takes is one juror to think she is not guilty for a mistrial.

I don't think the stated has proven anything. She may very well have done this but it's certainly not be proven in any way. Think what you want, believe what you want. They still have to prove it and they haven't.

Guilty – First Degree! I am without a doubt. Actually, the defense side made it more obvious to me of her probable mind set throughout the crime, by "throwing EVERYBODY ELSE under the bus." On her own, she demonstrated COMPLETE lack of sorrow about Caylee's death (I don't buy the tears!!) and her lack of love for her, as well as for her family, or any kind of empathy for her or ANYBODY ELSE involved! That is why I feel confident about murder in the First Degree!!

To prove my point regarding her cold sociopathic mindset during the crime, is how she allowed her attorney's to massacre her family and friends to save her own butt (for which they will suffer from this the rest of their lives)!! If her attorney's, especially Beaz, simply used this type of abuse to win the case, then that makes him a sociopath, as well. ....

now what im wondering is why is the state going in the direction they are going in???? i dont agree with them at all...i think casey wanted cayle to go to bed so she did what she normally did and "put" her to sleep. but this time it was a little too much and she ended up passing. then casey freaked and came up with this kidnapping story, used the duct tape to make it more believeable and used the garbage bag to make the kidnapping more belieleable. i dont think she ment for her to die but i def think she killed her own child. she should have just come forward when she initially died. shed still be a monster but at least shed be an honest one.

It is all Male Bovine Excrement : The nation should be ashamed to watch this spectacle and the media should be ashamed for sensationalizing it. The matter should have been handled entirely locally. What klutzes you all are ! ! !

You've all said it better than I can. She's guilty but due to all the sloppy prosecutor's evidence there's no way that she will be convicted. They overshot themselves. They never should have made it a capital case. If they had only asked for a prison sentence, I think she might have been convicted. As it is, if I was on the jury, (and I don't believe in capitol punishment) but even if I did, I couldn't have it on my conscience to sentence her to death. Hopefully, they'll convict her and give her a considerable prison sentence. That's the best, in my opinion, that the prosecution can hope for.

Has anyone noticed that she adjusts her chair to the lower position at the defense table?

There is so much confusion about this case and the brother was so close to Caylee and so much lying on both side it is hard to decide who is quility and who is not. I am glad I am not on the jury
