   I hope she didn't pay a lot for her defense team because they were pitiful. Their witnesses had a lot of far out theories like a dog might have buried the skull....off to jail with you.

   I have been following this case for three years and recorded and watched every minute of the trial. I believe her to be guilty. Unfortunately, she will probably get a lesser degree than pre-meditated murder because there is one Juror that will probably hold out. That is the juror who claimed not bo be judgmental. You have to judge if you are a juror. I think she will be put away and that alone is going to be terrible for a narcicistic person such as Casey. She wants to be free to party and have a wonderful life. Even ten years in prison is going to be horrible for this little liar. I do feel that the parents are enablers and to some degree, they are a little responsible. They obvioiusly do not know how to raise children. She was obviously very very spoiled. Casey was old enough to support her own daughter. Her parents should not have been assuming all of this responsibility. I have known people who are on welfare who have no education do a better job of raising a child. There is no excuse for any of their behaviour. When you place your hand on the bible and swear to tell the truth, that is what you should do. Cindy lied on the stand. If my son killed another human being, I would not try to cover for him. That is called "tough love".This whole thing is a travesty!!

   Not Guilty! State did not prove the case they do anything to win this case, they did not call all the witnesses to the stand, and they hid the evidence or introduce the evidence which they think will win them the case not to bring the Justice. I think the whole case was a Joke that’s why Mr. Ashton the prosecutor was laughing when Jose Baez pointed out Mr. Ashton to the Jury and Ashton got caught red handed for making fun of defense’s closing arguments. The Judge did not like it. State did not bring any witness who could testify that Casey was a bad mother who has abused her daughter or she is a pathological liar. All state kept saying and pointing out that she is a pathological liar ….. If that’s a reason for the State Of Florida to put Casey on Death row then we as a nation need to take a hard look at the Judicial system of this country.................

     We, as a nation, need to take a hard look at our judicial system if we allow a woman, who is obviously so very guilty, to walk free, for the simple fact that she lied well enough to for us to question COMMON SENSE and LOGIC!

   All we really know is that a toddler died, either accidentally or deliberately, and a large collection of dysfunctional unreliable white trash witnesses have all provided mutually contradictory accounts of how it might have happened.

   Certainly not enough evidence to convict anyone beyond a reasonable doubt of first degree murder, although were this a civil case, it might meet the "more likely than not" standard that the mom was somehow involved.

   So I'm waiting with bated breath to see what the jury decides.

   Guilty. Isn't it ironic that trial ended today, the day that could be Casey's last chance at indepence? I believe the prosecution die an awesome job working with what they had. I think Baez was awful. Casey doesn't have anything going for her to begin with, but Baez made a bad situation worse. He started by opening up with a can of worms in his opening statement; leading everone to believe he had something to deliver and what he delivered was a HEARTLESS woman that was not only selfish enough to kill her beautiful child, but now desperate enough to take the only people in the world that would do whatever possible to help her, and throw them under a bus to get away with it! Yes, it's a no brainer that it is a dysfunctional family, which is probably the majority of us..but does that mean WE are capable of the same crimes? Even if the "apple doesn't fall far from the tree," did Cindy kill Casey? Based upon what we have heard, it appears that Casey was probably a handful that was enabled by Cindy. Why are we all so captivated? This is probably as "whitebread America" as you can get. Here is a family, mom is a nurse, dad is/was a cop..1 boy, 1 girl. And they are still married, can't claim she is a victim of divorce as everyone does. They appear to have a nice home and extras. Attractive, popular girl. Got pregnant..she wasn't thrown out on the streets. Parents helped. She could have made it. SEEMED "normal". She doesn't look like a monster! Scary that if all of this can happen in a family like this, it can happen to anyone. I believe that is why we can't look away. It can happen in our own family or it can be our next door neighbors. We hate to think that such EVIL is within anyone.

   Some havent watched the whole trial. The poor little angel that didnt have a choice or a voice. THe grandparents who did nothing but love and gave everything. Casey lied to have the life SHE wanted. she threw her parents under the bus and her brother because nothing else made sense..she has diverted attention away from herself to delay... The state proved chloriphorm searches. proved duct tape. proved decomp smell. proved so much beyond a reasonable doubt. i pray for george and cindy and lee. i also pray for little cayle. I hope Casey rotts in hell for all the lies and the killing of a little angel. GUILTY of MURDER in the 1st degree

    Ernest...everything you said is speculation. So she says it's an accident, she has lied so much that this cannot be taken seriously. Remember, she also said she was kidnapped. So ok, lets believe her on the accident statement. Knowing of the accident doesnt neccessarily place you at the scene. You automatically assume she was there...however, there is no proof there. I would like to address the internet searches. You should really go back and listen to the defense's closing argument. Apparently, there were two seperate reports ran on the computer and only one search came up about chloroform. The next report (btw, caching was ran after jury was set) then said 84 searches of chloroform. However, this same report did not pick up any myspace/facebook searches/visits. Is this not odd to you? This caching system ran to check searches is again...a NEW system. Just as the sniffing machine (which this creator also believes in divine rods to find graves) is a joke. Or the hair banding that could not be duplicated by an FBI crime lab. The most prestigous crime lab in the US cannot find any evidence of this. The state just didn't do a good job. Hats off to Baez he did a great job with a psycho familly and I really believe she will go free. There just isnt enough evidence that says WHO killed caylee. You can paint Casey as the only "logical" person...but that goes with Ashton's comments...we can only HOPE. There is no cause of death either...so how is this a homicide?

      Hi Chris-

      What I said isn't speculation. Remember that Casey stated that Caylee was taken by someone that was proven not to exist. She then asserted a accidental drowning defense after denying such events both to her parents and to law enforcement- this was presented evidence. So, by saying "this is what happened"- she closes off any other possibility. Again- Casey asserted this defense, it wasn't the prosecution's statement.

      Then- by saying or addmiting that an accident happened resulting in Caylee's death, she then admits that she knew of Caylee's death; all the while lying to everyone, including law enforcement, about knowledge of Caylee's whereabouts or condition. Also, by asserting the accident, she declares herself a witness to this fact which means that 1) the event occurred in her presence, 2) she was at the scene, 3) she was aware of the death, and 4) she attempted to cover up this fact. Remember she asserted the kidnapping story until Caylee's remains were found.

    Wow, that is some incredible journalism...watching lawyers have lunch. The media has made this case the circus it has become...why?- for TV ratings. People like Jane Velez and Nancy Grace should be ashamed of the television "news" they produce , sensationalistic schlock.

    The defense may have offered up some excuses for her behaviour but the truth is; if your daughter goes missing, you don't go partying and certainly not a hot body contest. If her father was guilty of the acts that she accused him of then I don't think she would have been so upset during his testimony: she knew she was puting her family through hell in an effort to save her own hide; again, thinking only of herself.
    Guilty will be the verdict and she will get what is coming to her.

    NOT GUILTY. Reasoning is this: contrary to popular belief, it's not the defense job to "prove reasonable doubt". Rather, It's the prosecution's job to remove ANY reasonable doubt. They didn't. We heard testimony for George Anthony's LOVER that he told her it was "an accident that snowballed out of control". There we go. With this testimony, there is now reasonable doubt, therefore -> NOT GUILTY.

      Actually, the jury was instructed to take witnesses testimony in context. They can accept or reject any witnesses' testimony. Plus, even if they found it "an accident that snowballed" it would still be manslaughter at the very least.......which is still guilty......I frankly think they proved beyond a reasonable doubt that she committed 1st degree murder.....

    George was a HOMICIDE detective...lmao are you telling me he had no idea? he helped cover this up, and I think the mom was the one in the Dark until the time when Casy fessed up with the Zanny story. I think while the parents were on vacation Casey left the child home alone, she's home hung over, Caylee wonders off falls in pool. Casey tries calling parents they don't answer because they think she wants MONEY!. The State the cops and Kronk all screwed this simple investigation.
