It's the capital murder case that's held our attention this summer. But has the prosecution proved beyond a reasonable doubt that Casey Anthony intentionally murdered her daughter? The jury is beginning their deliberations today, and now it's your chance to weigh in. You've gotta watch the most pivotal moments from the defense and prosecution and judge for yourself whether Casey Anthony is guilty or innocent.
Prosecuting Casey Anthony – The state of Florida contends Casey Anthony cared more about partying and having a fun life than being a mother. It's her motive for murder, according to prosecutors. They paint her as a liar trying to live the good life at the expense of her daughter.

Defending Casey Anthony – The defense brought molestation allegations against Casey Anthony's father and brother during the trial. It pointed to George Anthony as the real culprit behind the toddler's death and cover-up. Most importantly, Casey Anthony's defense team relied upon the fact that Caylee Anthony's cause of death is undetermined. It believes that's the real reason there's not enough evidence to convict the Florida mother of murder.

I think Casey is guilty of murder, but I don't thing the state has proved it. If she is convicted on the evidence given it will be a miscarriage of justice, but a miscarriage I can live with.

Her family always knew she was a psychopath. That's the only explanation I can come up with on why her family never intervened at the beginning by having her "declared" when it dawned on them she'd killed their precious Caylee. Her family like most other sane people want her to pay for being a torture on them from the day she started talking. There's a whole pile of history we never heard.
When she killed Caylee she was killing herself as every mum with a daughter will tell you they want their daughters to have a smoother life experience than we did. I really think she thought she was doing her baby a favour.
After closing this morning I see she's not smart, smart people leave no loose ends. I think she's crafty not smart!
Too bad she will get the death penalty wouldn't anyone be curious what deep analysis would teach us about these rare female animals?
In the ideal world, if someone killed their child and a judge asked them –Did you kill your child?, the accused would answer truthfully, yes or no. In the court system, as we know it today, if the judge asks the question, did you kill your child, the answer becomes "Let's make a Deal". It is like answering "sort of". Either you did or you didn't....there is no "sort of." The child is dead. She isn't "sort of dead". "But your honor", the accused may whine, "people were mean to me when I was a child." But the child, Caylee, is still DEAD. The claim that Casey Anthony was molested as a child by her brother and/or father is doubtful, there is no proof. If it was true, why would Casey leave her precious child, Caylee in the care of her brother and/or her father? Why would her mother, Cindy have allowed Goerge to watch Caylee? In Casey's distorted mental state, by repeating the lie, that her father or brother molested her and were involved in hiding the body, often enough, it becomes Casey's truth. In the meantime, as part of the wreckage of this crime, there are more victims, truth was the first victim, Casey's family and more specifically, her father and her conflicted brother, who wanted to protect his sister and at the same time forgot that his niece has no one to protect her. The mother, Cindy is also a puppet master in this mess, terrific actress (quite a crying scene on the stand– must have had hours of rehearsal), trying to act as though her granddaughter was the most important person in all of this, while at the same time willing to lie to the court to protect her daughter. The tears on the stand, the minor admissions about some of Caseys flaws. Cindy sayng that Casey was a loving mother and at the same time that she was an unfit mother. Truth is the victim and the other victim is the innocent child, Caylee lost her voice in this trial and her protectors. Cindy and her husband have to face facts, even if Casey is found innocent, their family has been changed forever. The causes of the family tragedy can not be repaired. They disrespected their innocent grandchild. They have caved in to their demented daughter in the death of this beautiful little girl–an innocent, who never had a chance to live her life. Just remember Caylee singing–"You Are My Sunshine." The innocence of a beautiful child's voice.

OJ was found NOT guilty. Thus, if she's as 'guilty' as OJ- it means she walks... AFTER the 'lying to the police' jail time – that is (a few months). THEN,although she's not that smart to get a show on CNN – like 'CASEY and GRACIE' in which she'd team up with the woman whose career she created, Nancy Grace, which would appear after SPITZ ON WEINER (after Anthony Weiner and all his infamous body parts- gets hired to cohost with his former call girl lovin' ex Governor),................ I DO think she'll get a MTV or E' Television /perhaps, Ryan Seacrest produced reality show deal with her family – like 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' - called 'Agony with the Anthonys.'
The MEDIA has itself to blame for creating Casey's SUPER STARDOM– and allowing for an OJ type of Defense effort. It's ALL about ratings and Casey got them ratings. They will NOT let her go. She is a true superstar in this day and age in which 42% of the morons in SCAMerica don't even know we got our independence from England... and she will earn $quintillions - BECAUSE, today, these morons of society LOVE pretty girls like Kim Kardashian and HER dysfunctional family- (and the equally talentless Heidi Montag and the pathetic Kate Gosselin...and soooo many others (how about those Big Brother losers??)
The networks are REAAAALLY gonna love the profit potential of this Anthony crew. Everybody already knows them and I can't wait for their season premiere. It is sad with this case period. The only person who knows who did really committed this crime is the little girl and, of course, God. I believe Casey is guility whether it was an accident or not. She went out partying, etc. If my baby was murdered, etc, I wouldn't be out partying. I question the evidence such as DNA, finger prints, shoe prints, etc as well. I also wondered why Casey didn't testify. Casey has been know of telling lies and her emotions in the courtroom really didn't show much emotion until the end. There are a lot of holes in the puzzle. There is still quite a bit missing. I used my judgmental opinion on this case; however, God is the ultimate judge. He knows all things. Whether it is Casey or somebody else, they know the truth as well and has to live with this for the rest of their lives. Somebody is lying that is for sure! Justice prevail for the little girl. So sad! So sad! Regardless, I believe Casey has something to do with it. Whether she acted alone or not, I really can't say! There are loopholes missing in this case. I believe many tests were eliminated that should have been conducted. Just because Casey's father was a former policemen doesn't excuse the investigation to be full force. Even after the jury makes their deliberations, I believe this is not over with yet. After the case is reviewed, I believe a back track of some of the loopholes will be revealed. WOW! The little girl didn't have a chance to live life. What is going on with mothers these days.

Just because something is possible doesn't make is probable (reasonable). I think the defense is doing miserable job and here's why: Their whole defense is based on a drowning covered up by George and Casey. There is absolutely no reason for someone to put duct tape over the nose and mouth of an already dead child. Then top it off with a sticker? WOW!! That is a very, very personal touch. Was Caylee wearing a swim suit when she was found? Well, just put the sticker on her suit. This was a totally lame @ $ $ defense!!!

I think that Casey invented the nanny a long time ago and was pretending that she was somebody that regularly spent time with Kaylee with the intent of someday saying that the nanny kidnapped her. I think this was premeditated for a very long time and Casey was waiting for the right opportunity.

HUNG JURY on all the homicide charges. The State totally overcharged this case. The evidence proved only that Caylee died but there was no evidence as to the cause of death (i.e., premeditated vs. voluntary homicide vs. involuntary). The murder charges are based purely on speculation & dislike/hatred of Casey. There are way, way too many missing elements. They HAVE a body & still can't prove cause of death; no DNA, no fingerprints, no admissions, no evidence of chlorophyll. Also, way too much weirdness surrounding George.
