Gotta Watch: Judging Casey Anthony case
It's the capital murder case that's held our attention this summer. But has the prosecution proved beyond a reasonable doubt that Casey Anthony intentionally murdered her daughter? The jury is beginning their deliberations today, and now it's your chance to weigh in. You've gotta watch the most pivotal moments from the defense and prosecution and judge for yourself whether Casey Anthony is guilty or innocent.
Prosecuting Casey Anthony – The state of Florida contends Casey Anthony cared more about partying and having a fun life than being a mother. It's her motive for murder, according to prosecutors. They paint her as a liar trying to live the good life at the expense of her daughter.

Defending Casey Anthony – The defense brought molestation allegations against Casey Anthony's father and brother during the trial. It pointed to George Anthony as the real culprit behind the toddler's death and cover-up. Most importantly, Casey Anthony's defense team relied upon the fact that Caylee Anthony's cause of death is undetermined. It believes that's the real reason there's not enough evidence to convict the Florida mother of murder.

She did it, she knows she did it, however she did it does not matter.. the precious child is dead and the state proved the evidence points to no one but casey.. I hope they bring back a verdict that will stay in any mind that entertains the thought of eliminating their child.
She could have taken the child to any hospital and said, I am thinking of killing her; take her from me because I'm too immature to raise her; they would have done so. George and Cindy would have given anything for the safety of Little Caylee, may she rest in peace.. but Cindy, especially, wanted to MAKE casey see she needed to stop being a wild-a$$ and settle down to bring up her baby in a respectful way.
The whole thing is a tragedy, of course.. But I have prayed long and hard for the Holy Spirit to lift up God's wisdom in these jurors' minds and let them render a verdict that will put this heartless woman away for many years.. Not only for justice for the baby, but to show other crazy fool women to stop before they hurt their own offspring.

Wow alot of people posting since this morning! One thing that casey said in her jailhouse communication with her mom and dad just keeps coming back to me and I never heard the prosecution bring it up was Casey saying"I feel Caylee is close to home." She kept wanting to speak to her dad and wanted Cindy to give him the phone.
As I said on page one of this thread she will probably not get the death penalty, prosecution should have charged her with neglect that ended in death of a child. I think that there is a chance that 1 juror will not be able to, due to the lack of concrete evidence.
Do I think she is guilty, yes but that is my emotional opinion. After watching all of the trial, I do have reasonable doubt about the fact that this was some type of accident where Casey was trying to put her daughter to sleep with the chloroform so she should go out, and Caylee passed away. Not guilty....no way. There is 2nd degree murder, 3rd degree murder, aggravated child abuse charges, to consider. I am on the fence on where the guilt is in regard to charges. So glad Im not on that Jury...my head is spinning just watching!
I agree that caylee died while casey put her to sleep, and this is felony murder, which also is 1st degree murder. That should be the veredict.
I watched and listened .... her phone calls wanting her boyfriend 'Tony" while her daughter is missing whats that about
I think she was chloroforming and keeping her in the trunk it worked a couple od times ..But..... She went to the trunk and she was crying no one heard it she almost got caught ...so she thought Duct tape will save me time an no one will hear and it ended up suffocating her ... she kept her in the trunk THOUGHT MYTHOTICLLY... got the bags, laundry basket, "duct tape in tact" said good bye with the sticker..............waited till evening and dumped her .....

I agree she is guilty. I would have to say that one of the main reasons the death penalty is given is so that the families of the victims can have some closure and, sickly enough, some retribution. In this case however, the victim's family also happens to be the accused's and I believe they have suffered enough. Life imprisonment is good enough. She probably won't last anyways.
I don't think Casey killed her daughter.... she know who did but covering it up....something is just weird here
Nel, did you watch the trial?...she knew where Caylee was..she lied to everyone...she lied to her attorney..she is a professional liar..have you heard her on TV did you see the videos from jail..she is is cunning and smart..she is self absorbed and only cares about herself..give me a break...I am not so pent up fo death for her but I will celebrate if she is found guilty and give life in prison without possibility of parole...that little child deserves this..she might have loved her mother but no mother would treat a child they loved like this....

I think when we say " I think" instead of " I know" that means there is room unfortunately in this case for a plead of not guilty.
Caylee deserved more from the State of Florida. We know the mom is a lier and we all think she did it. I think the way Caylee died is in question. I want Casey to get a minimum of a manslaughter charge. I
TOT "MOM"..lol I think OJ will help Casey find the real killers.

The prosecution is the one that is required to prove the case, They failed majorly. There was way too much incompetence to prove anything. Even if the jury convicts on something, Casey can (and should) appeal. Besides, on appeal, the only evidence they can refer to is the evidence used in the original trial which points to incompetence on the part of the prosecution, FBI, medical examiner, etc. and the tainted evidence that the prosecution produced.
dont think she will get death penality-out of consideration for her parents
She most likely killed her, but the state has not proved their case. There was no evidence actually linking her to the crime, no motive, no evidence of aggravated child abuse or any child abuse. Should the jury come back with not guilty, chances are someone just a crazy as Casey will end up killing her anyway.
I have three children and now they are young adults, Hell I partied when they were young, and the same time, my children were and are the air I breathe, and they are very much close to me. I simply believe it was an accident and it takes more then a 22 year old to cover it up! If you're smart enough, you'll do the calculation!
