It's the capital murder case that's held our attention this summer. But has the prosecution proved beyond a reasonable doubt that Casey Anthony intentionally murdered her daughter? The jury is beginning their deliberations today, and now it's your chance to weigh in. Prosecuting Casey Anthony – The state of Florida contends Casey Anthony cared more about partying and having a fun life than being a mother. It's her motive for murder, according to prosecutors. They paint her as a liar trying to live the good life at the expense of her daughter.

Defending Casey Anthony – The defense brought molestation allegations against Casey Anthony's father and brother during the trial. It pointed to George Anthony as the real culprit behind the toddler's death and cover-up. Most importantly, Casey Anthony's defense team relied upon the fact that Caylee Anthony's cause of death is undetermined. It believes that's the real reason there's not enough evidence to convict the Florida mother of murder.

Does anyone wonder why the female lawyer was not consoling casey today? casey is so arrogant-instead of humbling herself & shutting up-she chose to mumble words & looked at the female prosecutor like she could kill her. I wonder is that the same look she gave Caylee before she killed her?
Suppose Casey did do it. What does harming Casey with prison time or death do besides satisfying feelings of revenge and hate?

Guilty of Felony Murder. Guilty of Aggravated Child Abuse. And Guilty of all four charges of Lying. May the Jury have mercy on her during the penalty phase – Life with out parole is suffice (and cheaper).
I saw one report that a female juror would not make eye contact with the prosecutor when the prosecution was making its case. This possibly means that she's already made up her mind that she believes this monster to be innocent. I can't recall what juror number, but if this is true then the judge needs to get rid of that juror if anything for not paying attention to both sides of this argument.
I have watched this trial unfolld as avidly as the rest of you, but if I was on that jury I would have to say Guilty as well. Not sure how I would feel about death. Maybe having to think about what you did is a worse punishment. She had so many options and she had parents who gladly would have raised Caylee. When it became clear that it was She and not Cindy who made those searches I think it was the last shred of doubt being removed for me.

Too elaborate for manslaughter folks. Manslaughter is when something accidentally happens and you have remorse and lack motive.
I am not convinced she killed her baby. I suspect her hysterical phone call to her boyfriend indicates he killed the child. He may have been 'messing' with the baby and threatened Casey to keep silent. Casey is in no way 'innocent' nor do I have any pity for her at all. She is guilty of child abuse and a disgusting person. But legally there is NO EVIDENCE she killed the baby.
But were not the jury....the jury is the jury cause mob rule doesn't fly in this country. At least it shouldn't anyway.

It's clear Casey is responsible for Caylee's death, I won't rule out an accident. Caylee is last seen alive with Casey. Caylee is not reported missing for 31 days by Casey. Casey takes no active role in aiding to find her daughter. Her motive is simple she didn't want to be a Mom or share the attention with her daughter. Casey had been acting up and lying for years. 'She had been stealing money from a Grandparent, parents and friends for some time. I think Casey was a spoiled child, but as she grew up George and Cindy didn't know what to do. When Caylee came along she became George and Cindy's hope and joy. Maybe a do over for them. Casey has no remorse for all the hurt she has caused her family, or her dauighter. It's time Cindy shuts up, all her lying makes her look bad too

I agree with this theory–and I believe George and that "Kronk" fellow were definitely tied in together on this coverup. I'd like to see her acquitted and then see the state arrest George and Kronk.
