It's the capital murder case that's held our attention this summer. But has the prosecution proved beyond a reasonable doubt that Casey Anthony intentionally murdered her daughter? The jury is beginning their deliberations today, and now it's your chance to weigh in. You've gotta watch the most pivotal moments from the defense and prosecution and judge for yourself whether Casey Anthony is guilty or innocent.
Prosecuting Casey Anthony – The state of Florida contends Casey Anthony cared more about partying and having a fun life than being a mother. It's her motive for murder, according to prosecutors. They paint her as a liar trying to live the good life at the expense of her daughter.

Defending Casey Anthony – The defense brought molestation allegations against Casey Anthony's father and brother during the trial. It pointed to George Anthony as the real culprit behind the toddler's death and cover-up. Most importantly, Casey Anthony's defense team relied upon the fact that Caylee Anthony's cause of death is undetermined. It believes that's the real reason there's not enough evidence to convict the Florida mother of murder.

How long will it take the jury to render a verdict?
I fully believe that Casey Anthony is 100% guilty of killing little Caylee. The prosecution may not have all the evidence to prove this, but again being non-remorseful is as guilty as can be. I know if that were my daughter I would be searching hell or high water to find her. Shame on you, Casey Anthony. If you didn't want the child there are many other people in this world who could have loved her.
Who provided transportation to Casey when she abandoned her car in the lot at Amscot?
Ashton should lose his job for that disgusting behavior yesterday. I have never seen a federal prosecutor conduct themselves in that manner.
She will be innocent....I say she drowned my accidant, and she went to her dad for help. Her father being an expolice officer didnt leave finger prints, or any trace.. They used the tape to make it look like someone kidnapped her.
I completely agree with you. You made a great point of the fact that her father was ex police and knew ways to cover things up. I think he has behaved as a man riddled with guilt. Why else a suicide attempt. Ms. Anthony has always seemed to be righteously angry and silently protecting someone.
So now that the plan didn't work, why would the dad be willing to let his daughter go to trial with the prosecution seeking the death penalty? None of that adds up. No matter how much you wish Casey to be innocent, everything she has done points to her guilt.
It would be helpful if the posters would actually read what the elements of the various descriptions of murder (plus lesser and included) actually are. Some people would throw in manslaughter because of the situation and the defendent, however the discovery of the little body are not consistant with manslaughter. If you cannot find her guilty of murder, you cannot find her guilty of manslaughter or child abuse.
she is responsible for Caylee's death but there is no DNA and the pros can not say how she died or when she died so that is reasonable doubt! plus how much can you really trust the police and the government!! if i was a juror and the pros didnt have any DNA or nothing that ties her directly to the case then i would charge her with manslaughter and thats it!
I believe it was an accident. She will be found guilty of lying to police officers but "NOT GUILTY" on the other charges.
After all is said and done, the one thing that, I believe incriminates Casey the most, is the time in which she chose to notify the police of her daughter's disappearance and the pictures of her partying. If you are mother or even care for a child, this behavior proves guilt!

I believe that she is Guilty. However just like the defense stated there isn't enough evidence presented to get her convicted. However like the prosecution stated Who had the better life after Caylee was killed. The defense knows she did it. Why else would they try to discredit all of the evidence. But her body language and what she did during the trial states that she did it. She showed no emotion throught the trial. I'm sorry but if you can sit there and be told that you are facing charges including murder of your own child whom you gave birth to and do nothing not get upset once. I believe you have lost your humanity. You have no morals you deserve to be convicted.

No matter what the jury decides – there will be many in the public and media that will disagree . When I heard about the " serious computer issues" that the government deliberately mis-led the court on – scares me as to what elase was made up
The government did not make up the information, they used different tools to examine it and extract it. The defence had full access to the data and could have produced their own report. Why would someone go back and delete the searches if they didn't exists. Why would Cindy Anthony purger herself to shift the blame to herself. Why would Jose say that the MySpace search occurred directly before it. The number may be in dispute, but not that they didn't happen.
Sad sad story. She will found guilty on aggravated manslaughter with child abuse and the four counts on lying to police.
This will put her away for just about life. I think like many others she just wanted her to sleep while she partied and it went too far. Casey disposed of the body the way they all disposed of the pets. I think her boyfriend who originally looked up the chloroform knows more than he is saying. A case of sad all the way around.
It is a very sad story but I can honestly say I have never wanted my child to sleep so I could party.
