Gotta Watch: Judging Casey Anthony case

It's the capital murder case that's held our attention this summer. But has the prosecution proved beyond a reasonable doubt that Casey Anthony intentionally murdered her daughter? The jury is beginning their deliberations today, and now it's your chance to weigh in. You've gotta watch the most pivotal moments from the defense and prosecution and judge for yourself whether Casey Anthony is guilty or innocent.

Prosecuting Casey Anthony – The state of Florida contends Casey Anthony cared more about partying and having a fun life than being a mother. It's her motive for murder, according to prosecutors. They paint her as a liar trying to live the good life at the expense of her daughter.

Defending Casey Anthony – The defense brought molestation allegations against Casey Anthony's father and brother during the trial. It pointed to George Anthony as the real culprit behind the toddler's death and cover-up. Most importantly, Casey Anthony's defense team relied upon the fact that Caylee Anthony's cause of death is undetermined. It believes that's the real reason there's not enough evidence to convict the Florida mother of murder.

What has the prosecution proved ? Look at this case with logic instead of through the hype of TruTV and HLN. Isn't it a journalist's duty to report without bias? I guess these TV sites never got that in class. From the outset of this tragedy, I have always felt it had to be some sort of accident. She is guilty of coming from a disfunctional family, of covering up a terribly tragic accident and nothing else has been proved. Her punishment will be having to live with this tragic death of her daughter for the rest of her life.

Nobody reacts to an easily explainable accident by hiding the body and making it look like a murder.

Casey's next hot body contest will take place in hell.

"Nobody reacts to an easily explainable accident by hiding the body and making it look like a murder."

      That's completely false.

My heart is saddened on the only Fourth of July in my life, and I am 41 years old. I myself am a single mother of three children. Two teenage boys and a precious little baby girl that is about to turn one years old this month. Today I am with my family and can't seem to find it inside myself to get over this case. I feel so sorry for the grandparents of this little girl their lives will be forever changed after this case. Not only will they suffer the loss of their grandchild but the life of their little girl. It is hard enough loosing loved one in our live little along having to face THE FACT your child took the life of your grandchild. I know the grandparents are in for a much longer road to try and heal all they have had to indure.

I think she will b found guilty but I also don't think it was what the da wants it to be. And with all the media she will never get a fair trial and if people want to say other wise go ahead.

The death penalty is too good for her. Let her rot in jail for the rest of her life so she can be tortured by what she did.

Guilty on all charges. Who would sit in jail for 3 years and not raise holy hell if they were innocent!!

Precious Caylee deserves to rest in peace....pray for her.
Casey deserves the consequences to her actions.
Which she has never had. This is the end of the road for her.
Casey deserves her life taken as punishment for her sick actions.
Casey is a narcississtic, self serving, child murderer!!!

"Agreed, they don't even have a COD."

You don't have to have a COD. Do some research, or ask Scott Peterson. You can reach him on Death Row.

Casey deserves death by chloroform, duct tape over the mouth and nose, thrown in the trunk for a few days, and dumped in a forest.

Definitely guilty....the phone call to her home that the prosecution played in their rebuttal showed me the "true" side of Casey. The way she spoke to her mother, brother, etc. was profane, cold and showed her to be the "dominating" force in this family. Never once did she cry about/talk about her daughter. A true sociopath.

Exactly how she killed Caylee may be in question, but certainly not that she did it. The prosecution doesn't have to prove the exact method used, only that she did it beyond a reasonable doubt. Does Scott Peterson ring a bell? Next up, Drew Peterson.

The day the public heard about this case, I wondered why would a mother not report to the police that her daughter had been kidnapped by the nanny 31 days before. Didn't make sense to me then and when Casey did not take the stand to defend her actions, she hammered the final nail in her coffin. May God have mercy on her soul.
