It's the capital murder case that's held our attention this summer. But has the prosecution proved beyond a reasonable doubt that Casey Anthony intentionally murdered her daughter? The jury is beginning their deliberations today, and now it's your chance to weigh in. You've gotta watch the most pivotal moments from the defense and prosecution and judge for yourself whether Casey Anthony is guilty or innocent.
Prosecuting Casey Anthony – The state of Florida contends Casey Anthony cared more about partying and having a fun life than being a mother. It's her motive for murder, according to prosecutors. They paint her as a liar trying to live the good life at the expense of her daughter.

Defending Casey Anthony – The defense brought molestation allegations against Casey Anthony's father and brother during the trial. It pointed to George Anthony as the real culprit behind the toddler's death and cover-up. Most importantly, Casey Anthony's defense team relied upon the fact that Caylee Anthony's cause of death is undetermined. It believes that's the real reason there's not enough evidence to convict the Florida mother of murder.

Caylee is better off dead than living in that messed up family.
Um, lots of other people would have gladly taken her in, so you FAIL! Miserably.
Guilty, first degree murder...
What non-guilty person stands trial for murder if it was an accidental drowning. Anyone with half a brain can see that! GUILTY!!
1 last seen with caylee
2. Not looking for her daughter
3 mom call the police
4 smell of death
She is really sick
The defense kept harping on the cause of death being "unknown", but he forgot the reason WHY it was unknown. The body was in a plastic bag, in a swamp for months. It had been disturbed by weather, foraging animals, and decomposition. In other words, there was no way to determined cause of death because whoever disposed of the child's remains in that way ensured that. It takes a special sort of stupid to think hiding the evidence is going to make it go away forever.
Whether you believe it was pre-meditated or reaction to an accident, what happened afterward was still criminal. Concealing the death of another is a felony in all states. No matter what, Ms. Anthony has more time to serve. And, depending on how you view her parents, maybe they need to do some time, too.
And here I was thinking that if Nancy Grace says she did it, it must be true!
Lol!!
I think Baez is salami sliding Casey. How else is she going to pay him?
If you live in Florida, you're paying
She should be able to do whatever she wants with something she made
If you live in Florida, you're paying.
Sorry, meant to go above. Screen is hopping around with the video.
I do not know if she will get death but my question is what happen during the 31 days and the explanation is?
Guilty.
Live in solitary confinement.
Given the great reticence we have as citizens to report for jury duty, isn't foolish to invite all in sundry to be a jury.
I think she is guitly. I mean she went partying when her child was missing! What kind of innocent person does that. I think she should get the death sentence.
Kinda harsh for your shaky logic
Obviously rt doesn't have kids. I mean going by evidence it's 50/50. I personally believe she killed her kid. Why would a true parent not report they're kid missing? Instead choose to party?
I dont think your logic is shaky at all Tabitha
having kids doesnt change logic, if anything it brings emotions way more into play. she definitely did something terrible, most likely killed her, im just saying that the above post needs a little more specifics before it hands out death sentences
It's simple minded thinking like this has turned our judicial system into the dog and pony show it is today. While my gut tells me something is very very wrong with this family, I'm not convinced the evidence collected by the prosecution has been sufficient to satisfy reasonable doubt. In a court of law you don't get to say "Well this doesn't make sense to me so she's guilty". Unless of course you're more interested in Kangaroo Theater than you are in responsible American justice.
Give em the ol' razzle dazzle... ~ Chicago
k anonymous just said what i was trying to, cept much more civilized, and i admit overall better. short: thats what i meant to say
I agree with Justin. I think the defense did a great job and the prosecution merely played on emotion–not hard core evidence that Casey killed her daughter. I do have children, so don't tell me to shoot myself of cuss at me, please. Casey is no hero, that's for sure, but I'd rather have her for my neighbor than Nancy Grace. For what it's worth. I don't care if you disagree with me.
1 being a mother doesn't grant you protection from insults.
2 you use flawed logic and therefore are stupid
I can't say for sure if she killed Kaylee but she is guilty or involved in her death somehow. She knows what happened and she isn't talking. Either it was accidental but something happened for her not to report her child missing for 31 days. Partying like a rock star getting a tattoo "bella vita".. the constant lying..
Of course will never know the truth...
Well if she becomes your neighbor I hope your kids don't get on her nerves.
3 Baez ran in hypocritical circles during closing.
4 Nancy grace wouldn't kill your child.
I do not feel that the prosection proved its case beyond any reasonable doubt, but I do feel that she did have something to do with the death, but I feel it was either an overdose or something to that effect. She panicked and hid her and then just dumped the body in the woods. I think she either told her father and they fought about it at a later date and then he had something to do with keeping it covered up, being an ex cop he did know that if they had no body tissue it couldn't be tested. There may have been some abuse between the two of them and they kept each others secrets. This whole thing is very strange but thats my opinion.
According to the judge an accidental overdose is still murder
GUILTY!!! But she'll most likely get off!!!
