Gotta Watch: Judging Casey Anthony case
It's the capital murder case that's held our attention this summer. But has the prosecution proved beyond a reasonable doubt that Casey Anthony intentionally murdered her daughter? The jury is beginning their deliberations today, and now it's your chance to weigh in. You've gotta watch the most pivotal moments from the defense and prosecution and judge for yourself whether Casey Anthony is guilty or innocent.
Prosecuting Casey Anthony – The state of Florida contends Casey Anthony cared more about partying and having a fun life than being a mother. It's her motive for murder, according to prosecutors. They paint her as a liar trying to live the good life at the expense of her daughter.

Defending Casey Anthony – The defense brought molestation allegations against Casey Anthony's father and brother during the trial. It pointed to George Anthony as the real culprit behind the toddler's death and cover-up. Most importantly, Casey Anthony's defense team relied upon the fact that Caylee Anthony's cause of death is undetermined. It believes that's the real reason there's not enough evidence to convict the Florida mother of murder.

I think she's guilty. But as far as HLN's coverage, I feel Linda Bodden(sic) has no place on your panel. As a former member of the DEF she can not add any insight,due to privacy restrictions ,and therefore can not be objective. All she can do is Parrot the defense points.
When they find her guilty, they should drop her off over a gator farm, sorry to put a bad taste in the gators mouths.

I think the whole family should be sentenced to jail! They are BEYOND dysfunctional. I think Casey is guilty, but even if her parents did conspire to make it look like a murder, why aren't THEY being charged with something? Poor Caylee will not get the justice she deserved, just like Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman didn't, either. At least one juror will vote not guilty just to get his/her 15 minutes of fame. I predict a HUNG JURY.
she is guilty. the prosecution proved how it happened. the defense stated that she was responsible. they said that she knew she was dead and she dumped the body. they proved that casey was the only one that could have made those searches on the computer, not cindy. all other family members had alibis that checked out. she did it. she has shown no remorse, and the only time she cries in when someone says something nice about her. she smirked when her parents were on the stand crying. she's evil. she got a tattoo that reads the beautiful life while caylee was "missing". she lied and made up multiple fake people to cover up what she did. she would not be convicted if her daughter drowned. it happens all the time. and if george anthony was involved, they would have never found the body. he worked in that field for decades. the truth is, casey killed her daughter, stuffed her in a plastic bag and disposed of her in a fashion that she didn't even do for a pet. they were at least buried properly.
in my opinion, cindy may have done a search for chloriphyll but casey was doing them for chlorriform. however you spell it. cindy's dogs may have started acting weird and sluggish because casey was probably test it out on the dogs to get the right dose. she is guilty and i hope justice is serviced. that said, i do not think there should be a death penalty. i think she should have to live out the rest of her life sitting in solitary so she can think of what she did. that or the same thing she did to her daughter should be done to her. its an eye for an eye right?

Best views of her were when the jury was removed. She laughed and kidded with her lawyers ! Then when the jury was called back in she put on that ugly sour puss face. She should be locked up in a glass case with no privacy as if in a zoo so the people can go see what an animal really looks like.
Besides the death of an innocent child there is something else that really bothers me here. It's obvious that she killed her daughter and that infuriates us. Murder is the worst crime of all. So why are so many people willing to stoop to her level and become supporters of murder by wanting the death penalty? Make her live her days in pain and agony instead of giving her an easy out. America has gone far downhill since the death penalty was re established. We should be better than the barbarians, but we are not.
She should be found guilty of murder, end of story. Every year thousands of young children tragically drown in the family pool. How many prosecutions do you see following out of that, even for negligence? Very few, if any. Overall the idea in the case of true drowning is it is a tragic accident. There is no need to cover up the death. A parent of a child that truly drowned would be heartbroken and not go dump- or go along with someone else dumping- the body in trash bags for animals to devour and slap duct tape over her mouth to boot. The body was hidden with one intent, and one intent only: to avoid detection and in the hopes time and the elements would destroy clearcut evidence of murder. And she seems to have succeeded partially, as poor Caylee's body was so decomposed that exact manner of death could not be determined.
The photo's of Casey partying and living it up while her daughter was still "missing" and not saying a word while thousands were being spent to try and locate her and the so called "nanny" shows just what a psychopath and liar she is. Even Susan Smith who deliberately drowned her own 2 kids in 1994 only lasted three days before she confessed. This one is STILL trying to get off scott free.

Can someone get those bias talking heads to stop? JVM and Nancy Grace are so emotional-she was already convicted by those two in all the media way before the trial began.. Please lord...get them to stop. A little girl died here
I believe the real case here is evidence, We all know she killed her somehow? The question is how? We don't know? So how can we say it was premeditated with someone who cant tell the truth about anything. We have no idea what she was thinking when it was done or how. Personally I think Jose did the best he could with what he had. But I diffiently think it was to get the jury to say it cant be premeditated. I also think the Prosiction did a good job. My opinion and I haven't heard anyone say this. I believe she used benedril or some type drug not an illegal one for her to go to sleep, then she duck tap her mouth leaving her nose to breath. Then thrown in the trunk several times before. So she could go out and do whatever Party? Anyway she did it in the middle of summer as she had done before and the child died of heat. She get home pops the trunk. Dead. Oh no what do i do. Well she either drove around with her for a while and she tossed her in the woods. Anyway I cant wait to see the jury because the fact there is no specific video showing how and when she killed her. I dont know so I have to go with 1st felony murder 100 percent 25 to life. No good outcome anyway you look unless she is let go and then her plan would have worked.
Just one question. How did the duct tape get on her mouth? Ok, two questions. What mother would put duct tape on her child's mouth if her death was an accident? Ok, three questions. Why would they make an accident LOOK like a murder?
Casey is a liar. Her parents are liars. They all have NO credibility. Casey had so many versions of her story, changing it as needed. This to me indicates guilt. She is guilty and should be found so.
Maybe this is how it happened: in the morning of June 16, the little one woke up, she put on her own socks (her body has socks, but no shoes), then she is dead.Maybe she was drowned, but she managed to get her body out of the poor;or she gave herself some chloroform and put duck tape around her own mouth,then she is dead! then she collected her backpack and blanket, and threw her body into a laundry bag, and then walked to the swamp and started the decomposing. Only one thing, she asked her mother by telepathy to borrow a shovel to dig a hole in the ground for her! She is too little to dig it herself!

They didn't prove the case beyond a reasonable doubt. Not saying she didn't do it but you can't convict her or anyone else without some sort of proof of what happened or how it happened. No insect evidence, no DNA or prints, no witnesses saw her or anyone do it, they don't even have a cause of death. They can't prove anything beyond speculation and rumor. Only Casey knows the truth and she's not talking. Unfortunately a baby is dead but that's all anyone will ever know. You can't convict Casey without proof.

actually, the jury can do whatever it wants to do. little known fact. if the jury wants to convict, the jury can convict. and most definitely they proved, beyond a reasonable doubt, that Casey murdered her daughter. from the duct tape, chloroform, decomposing body in HER vehicle, not reporting her missing for 30 days, etc. as the prosecution said, no one in their right mind would make an accident look like a murder. period.

Whether or not Cindy's telling the truth, Cindy claims to be the one who looked up the chloroform, not Casey, and that computer was open for friends and anyone to use, it was not Casey's personal computer...

The stain in the trunk had always been there since they bought the car not simply since the baby disappeared. Plus no DNA evidence or insects were found in the trunk which certainly would have been there had there been a decomposing body in there...
I'm sure Casey had something to do with the baby's death but the evidence to prove it simply isn't there. The jury obviously can do whatever they want however legally, ethically, and morally if they convict without any HARD evidence they would be wrong to do so and it will open up the argument for numerous appeals. Too many people interfered with this case, including the media polluting the jury, she could never get a fair trial, and now she might get away with it.
Definitely guilty. The phone call the prosecution played in their rebuttal showed me the "true" side of Casey. The way she spoke to her mother, brother, etc. was profane, cold, and showed her "dominating" position in the family. She never once asked about/cried about her daughter. A true sociopath.
GUILTY. Casey asked for her boyfriend Tony's phone number several times, but never asked her mother Cindy, nor brother Lee, nor her girl friend... If anyone had found Caylee. Casey was only concerned with herself and her boyfriend. Casey even said calling her family from jail was a complete waste. Casey treated her daughter just like her family ... a complete waste. And that's why Casey put her 2-year old daughter in a waste bag because Casey thought Caylee was a waste. Tony is an accomplice, too.
