It's the capital murder case that's held our attention this summer. But has the prosecution proved beyond a reasonable doubt that Casey Anthony intentionally murdered her daughter? The jury is beginning their deliberations today, and now it's your chance to weigh in. Prosecuting Casey Anthony – The state of Florida contends Casey Anthony cared more about partying and having a fun life than being a mother. It's her motive for murder, according to prosecutors. They paint her as a liar trying to live the good life at the expense of her daughter.

Defending Casey Anthony – The defense brought molestation allegations against Casey Anthony's father and brother during the trial. It pointed to George Anthony as the real culprit behind the toddler's death and cover-up. Most importantly, Casey Anthony's defense team relied upon the fact that Caylee Anthony's cause of death is undetermined. It believes that's the real reason there's not enough evidence to convict the Florida mother of murder.

The gun Diane Downs used to shoot her children was never found. True, her surviving daughter cooked her goose but George testified that the last time he saw Caylee, Casey was holding her hand.
What I'd like to know is, why has no effort been made through DNA analysis to identify the father of Caylee Anthony? Might not he have some material involvement in the death of the child?
Paternity testing has proven George Anthony, Lee Anthony and Jesse Grund are NOT the father of Caylee.
Casey has told several stories but seems to stick with the story of some guy, one night stand and the guy then killed in a car accident.
Who do you suggest gets paternity tested next? 6 yrs ago a pregnancy happened. Who should we test?
there is a woman who believe her son was the father of Caylee. perhaps the ONLY truth Casey has said was that Caylee's father was killed in a car accident. his mother has no DNA of her son so there could never be a DNA test completed.
and even if it were possible that the "father" was involved, why wouldn't casey implicate him?
@Raven...this woman certainly does have DNA which could be tested to prove her son was the father, she could test Caylee's DNA against her own DNA and it will either prove or disprove that she is the grandmother.
Sadly, children die in pools far to much. However, those grief stricken parents do not cover it up with lie after lie, party for 30 days, stash the body and thus makes them the main suspect of a Capital Murder Trial. GUILTY!!
Here is what is proven beyond any reasonable doubt 1) Anthony knows what happened to her daughter. Anthony did nothing but sweat bullet to try to outright ignore what happened to her daughter and lie to anyone who tried to ask her about it. Anthony is guilty of all 4 counts of lying to the cops.
Here is what is probable beyond a reasonable doubt 2) Anthony was in possession of Caylee just before and after her death and carried her around the trunk of her car. Its also probable she dumped the body next to their house but who knows why she would dump it there.
Here is what is probable but there is still a doubt 3) Anthony tried to disciple or quiet Caylee and ended up killing her. She is probably guilty of manslaughter. Anthony is probably guilty of child abuse if she was trying to discipline Caylee which caused the death .
This is what is unlikely but still possible 4) Caylee drowned or some other accident caused her death.
This is what the state did not prove 5) They have no cause of death nor any actual motive beyond speculation to support first degree murder.
she is guilty.her family all together liars.poor baby angel now god has her in better place.but they have to pay for their karma.
The real story of this case is the coverage. Wow, is there any way CNN and Jane could rethink the way she projects-way, way, way over the top. Ok, maybe just two Way Ways- but not professional to me, not just the overuse of adjectives and adverbs, also display of feeling is a bias, that needs moderating.

The prosecution HAS NOT PROVED BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT that casey committed the murder therefore she can not be held accountable for Caylee. Their is soo much information that has beeen brought forward and not investigated such alligations should have never been spoken of if they were never going to present them to court. 'There is so much being brought to the table' and not enough answers. It's a sour situation simply because the investigations and alligations were never presented and put forward. You can't accuse someone and sentence them to death w-o having all the facts at hand and thats something the court has not been do/ prove.
Guilt is proven beyond any reasonable doubt. Casey is guilty.

This is a tough one. I think Casey (obviously) did something to Caylee. The death itself was perhaps not on purpose but the mis-leading of the police and every do-gooder who put in time to find this child definitely was. I think she wanted the body to rot away to rid it of evidence (soft tissues) That leads me to believe that Caylee was either drugged or even poisoned. The whole strory of the accidental drowning makes no sense to me. George was real police. If it was an accident as No Way Jose! proposed then, as a former police, he would know you wouldn't spend the rest of your life in prison for an accidental drowning, so why would he ever threaten his daughter with that? I know the defence had nothing to prove but their lack of any substance in their case and the fact that they tried to blame everyone but Casey (For a so-called accidental death) made her look incredibly guilty to me. If it was an accident, you admit it and take your lumps. If not at first – before they put you into a death penalty trial – this just doesn't pass the smell test to me at all. How sad that for the family they still don't know what happened to the baby -even after a 6+ week trial.

I am sorry no matter how its sliced she had her daughters dead body in her car with duck tape on her face, never reported her missing and was out partying. She needs her reproductive organs removed and should be locked up for life with home videos and pictures of her daughter being visible to her at all times with photos of her decomposing body as well. May she rot in jail. Murderer or not she was a VERY selfish and bad mom

Caylee now is with her Father who sent her. It is Cindy, George, and Lee who must be in our prayers to function daily as well as Caseywhose life is now on the line in prison. May God to have mercy on her.

Just as there is a God their is pure Evil...the devil himself...its ying and yang...you can't have one without the other....God doesn't let things just happen, his not in complete control. It's a constant struggle between the two. But I think what's trying to be said is that now she doesn't have to suffer to the hands of her mother anymore...she's in greatness and will forever be happy! The prayers are needed for this family and for more then just the fact a little girl has lost her life...they are going through so much and appear to have been through hell already...life will never be the same for them...how would anyone feel after not only losing a niece or granddaughter but also being tormented with the remarks of their daughter/sister saying they molested her with no evidence of such actions (and they never questioned the father or brother on it); so to love a daughter/sister and to lose her as well due to such actions done at her hands....Prayer and strong faith will forever be needed in this family

We cannot depend on our government or any politicians any more for job or money. Because, that is how they are making their money. We have to come up with our own ideas. If someone is making a movie out of it, it is OK but not based on the media judgement.
