Gotta Watch: Judging Casey Anthony case

It's the capital murder case that's held our attention this summer. But has the prosecution proved beyond a reasonable doubt that Casey Anthony intentionally murdered her daughter? The jury is beginning their deliberations today, and now it's your chance to weigh in. You've gotta watch the most pivotal moments from the defense and prosecution and judge for yourself whether Casey Anthony is guilty or innocent.

Prosecuting Casey Anthony – The state of Florida contends Casey Anthony cared more about partying and having a fun life than being a mother. It's her motive for murder, according to prosecutors. They paint her as a liar trying to live the good life at the expense of her daughter.

Defending Casey Anthony – The defense brought molestation allegations against Casey Anthony's father and brother during the trial. It pointed to George Anthony as the real culprit behind the toddler's death and cover-up. Most importantly, Casey Anthony's defense team relied upon the fact that Caylee Anthony's cause of death is undetermined. It believes that's the real reason there's not enough evidence to convict the Florida mother of murder.

She's guilty & should fry. Her mother should go to jail for perjury. Baez should be disbarred.

Simply being a horrible person, dumb as a rock and a horrible, immature mother, does not in of itself impart guilt. There has been no evidence presented that says beyond a shadow of a doubt- that Casey Anthony is guilty. Your own personal feelings... her immature carefree actions- none of that means she is guilty. I could not convict her based on the criteria for guilt. I think in this case- gd will have to sort it out with her.. which.. given the weight of all her actions.. may be a more horrid scenario for her

You have to examine the evidence to determine what happened to Caylee. Then make a logical decision to render a verdict.

"Shadow of a doubt" is not the law. REASONABLE doubt is the law. Use your common sense.

Casey had just been found to have robbed her grandparents. Total stolen money from grandparents and parents is over 7,000.00 when added up. That could be why.

Do I think Casey is guilty? By all means! I also think her attorney, Baez, should be brought up on charges before the FL bar and his licensed removed for the allegations he made in his opening statements and yet provided absolutely no evidence to support during the trial. He and Casey should both be found guilty with her being given the death penalty and him being given life in prison plus disbarment.

Guilty! I watched the entire trial and she is absolutely guilty! She won't get the death penalty but she must be convicted! She is an absolute vengeful liar who killed her child. Shame on the defense for attacking George and Cindy in hopes of saving Casey!

I'm confused about the duct tape issue, First, I hear that the tape was placed of Cayle's mouth (presumably on the skin while still alive), then I hear that the tape was placed on the mandable (jaw- to keep it in place?).
If it's the former case, as the skin decays and drops off, so does the tape. If the tape was found on the bone structure, it had to have been place there (Post Mortum- After death. Why was that necessary?)

Reason why the duct tape stayed as it did was the duct tape was placed on the face and attached to the back of head hair. As the body and head decomposed, the hair on the head clumped together with the duct tape still attached. That's why
the mandible was still attached to the skull because of the combination of the duct tape and the clump of hair still attached
      to that duct tape.

Lets get the facts straight here! Casey Anthony spent the last month of her daughter "missing" hangin with her boyfriend, in night clubs, tattoo shops, clothing stores. WHATTT!!!! Come onnnn. Does the defense think we the people are that "stupid". Please. They wanna say that Caley was a loving mother... Is that what you call love!? Thats a woman who is running away from her responsibilities and screwed up BIG time. All of the evidence leads to her... She's a wack job that makes up imaginary people.. Is she 5 years old!! What a shame... What mother just sits around while her daughter is missing...and when asked says " I don't know?!" Yea ok. GUILTY in the FIRST degree...

They should find her not guilty and charge her mother and father to hide the body of the little girl after she drown in the pool under the supervision of Anthony and Cindy.

who on EARTH would make an accident look like a murder?!

you wouldn't go to jail for an accidental drowning. that is ridiculous that anyone would even THINK that was plausible explanation for what happened.

Guilty!!! life in prison!!!!! Even though I do believe this was pre meditated overall that would be the best punishment along with hanging pics of Caylee alive and pics of remains hung on walls in her jail cell everyday of her life.

right. and unfortunately, i think statistics show that the longer a jury is out, means there is at least ONE hold out. i hope that if there is a hung jury that the prosecution will re-try the case.

If it is a hung jury the state of Florida has to pay for another trial. Not fair.

GUILTY! All over it! Idk how your child could be missing and you wait till 30 days later for your mother to call the authorities to report her missing after she discovers that her granddaughter is not with her mother! Duct tapped and chloroform? Please! Lock her ass up and throw away the key. Forget the death penalty! Let her rot in prison for life without the possibility of prole! That's justice! Rest In Peace Sweet Little Angle! <3

I use to be happy with the thought of life in prison too, but this girl is so manipulative, I can't stand the thought of her making any inmate friends.

I hope she never smiles or feels happiness again.

Abi: Your not in Nigeria anymore...........we hold people accountable for criminal acts. There is nothing acceptable about killing or leaving a child to die. And for ANY country or person to do that is disgusting and they most definitely don't deserve to be called human.
