Gotta Watch: Judging Casey Anthony case

It's the capital murder case that's held our attention this summer. But has the prosecution proved beyond a reasonable doubt that Casey Anthony intentionally murdered her daughter? The jury is beginning their deliberations today, and now it's your chance to weigh in. You've gotta watch the most pivotal moments from the defense and prosecution and judge for yourself whether Casey Anthony is guilty or innocent.

Prosecuting Casey Anthony – The state of Florida contends Casey Anthony cared more about partying and having a fun life than being a mother. It's her motive for murder, according to prosecutors. They paint her as a liar trying to live the good life at the expense of her daughter.

Defending Casey Anthony – The defense brought molestation allegations against Casey Anthony's father and brother during the trial. It pointed to George Anthony as the real culprit behind the toddler's death and cover-up. Most importantly, Casey Anthony's defense team relied upon the fact that Caylee Anthony's cause of death is undetermined. It believes that's the real reason there's not enough evidence to convict the Florida mother of murder.

    Yes, she is horrible. Yes, she is a Liar. Yes, she was never fit to be a mother. Finally, YES she killed that baby for her own warped benefit. If Florida still has the Death Penalty (A Law which I am largely opposed to) they should use it on her.

    She put her to sleep in the past with "Zany" so she could party. Remember her nanny's name? This was an accidental death but the mother should be charge with abuse and neglect causing the death of her child.

    Was it proven? No.

    As much as I'd love to see this women go to prison, there just wasn't enough evidence to convict.

      little known fact: the jury can do whatever they want to do. even if the state didn't prove beyond a reasonable doubt, a jury can convict.

      what more do you need than to know that he daughter's dead body was in the back of her vehicle for weeks?

    Guilty -There is no reason why there should be duct tape around the skull. The duct tape was the murder weapon. If Caylee drowned I believe Casey would of told before when her Zanny story broke down and it would of helped Casey's drowning story if they did find Casey's body intact and could of checked for water in the lungs. There is a lot of evidence with the body like the laundry bag from the house, the duct tape from the house, and the sticker. I would convict the prosecution did a good job. Casey's actions after the death seem like someone who is guilty not a mother who was abused – that story of abuse being the reason she lied and acted the way she did was BS. Facing the death she still lied this is what a murderer would do remember it was 3 years ago and drowning only came up last month. I think besides the partying the jailhouse videos and interrogation are incredibly damning. I hope there was chloroform poor Caylee – I wish she would of giving the little girl to her parents or put her up for adoption.

    I believe that Casey Anthony is guilty, and that she's a sociopath, you can just tell she does not experience emotions like the rest of us (if she does at all).

    However, I'm not sure that the prosecution has enough evidence to prove first degree murder. I would like to see her convicted, but I think the defense had some good points that may show reasonable doubt. Either way, nothing is going to bring that little girl back. And THAT is the truly sad part about this. She could have grown up to be the next president of the United States for all we know. Sadly her life was cut short, whether intentional or accidental, she can never be brought back.

    There is NO doubt about this girl's guilt. I found her guilty as charged and would give the death penalty for her selfish lack of love for her daughter to have the right to her life and grow up to be married, have grandkids for Cindy and George (the ones who really loved this child and proved it) She is a liar (proven) Anyone with any sense at all could see through the defense and actually was insulting to the jurors to even think they would be stupid enough to believe any of their evidence. Linda, the last prosector has my vote. She is the best and she didn't leave any stone unturned. It isn't about winning – it is justice for a little girl who had a mother who was so self-centered, so into herself that she would rather kill her child than to allow Cindy and George to boot her out and take Caylee and raise her. I pray the jury will give her the ultimate verdict and sentence. I do think they will. Did anyone notice Casey's forehead veins pop out when Linda was calling her a liar – I can only wonder what would have happened to George and Cindy had this Casey been allowed to continue her murderous intentions? Who knows, maybe they would have been next? I wonder

    Shes been lieing all along she killed that little girl and for the pool she nevered died in the pool the defense will loose this case and she will serve time if they dont give her the death pently.

    Yeah, drowning in the pool was definitely a bad idea to come up with AFTER almost 3 years spent in jail... I mean, seriously, if that was the truth why would you wait for sooo long to tell it? THREE years in jail and you come up with a story like that just before the trial starts??? What? Does it mean she enjoyed being locked up all that time and that's why she kept silent? That drowning story should be the biggest defense mistake! If they kept insisting that this poor little girl was kidnapped by some mysterious person it would've been more believable than this BS. Guilty beyond the reasonable doubt. GUILTY.

    Shes Hot, screw all this Media hype, I would love to take her home for hubby and I to enjoy. Nancy Grace and all her gosip hounds need to get a lif. We have more important issues in this country than to be following this kind of Hype.
