It's the capital murder case that's held our attention this summer. But has the prosecution proved beyond a reasonable doubt that Casey Anthony intentionally murdered her daughter? The jury is beginning their deliberations today, and now it's your chance to weigh in. You've gotta watch the most pivotal moments from the defense and prosecution and judge for yourself whether Casey Anthony is guilty or innocent.
Prosecuting Casey Anthony – The state of Florida contends Casey Anthony cared more about partying and having a fun life than being a mother. It's her motive for murder, according to prosecutors. They paint her as a liar trying to live the good life at the expense of her daughter.

Defending Casey Anthony – The defense brought molestation allegations against Casey Anthony's father and brother during the trial. It pointed to George Anthony as the real culprit behind the toddler's death and cover-up. It believes that's the real reason there's not enough evidence to convict the Florida mother of murder.

baez did what any defense lawyer does–cause reasonable doubt, that he did do–no proof from state she was murdered, no cause of death, no proof casey made cloroform or gave it to caylee, no proof she dumped her body–lying and going out does not make you a child killer-at best an accident and the whole family helped protect and cover up details that would have been usefull 3 years ago–props to mr baez for your displays during closing–i am not a fan of casey and think she along with the family knows what happened–god bless the jury
The childs gone not coming back. Lose all the way down the board. But I am trying to figure out which attoney did better baez or state. IDK. I would say baez but I am not sure with the she drown idea. Come on. No one really knows how she died ,but I believe this all along She died of heat in the back of trunk. She had done it plenty times be4 drug her benedril tape mouth put in the back of the car and Do whatever her crazy mind wanted to do. Well she does it middle summer pops the trunk she is dead and tossed like trash if she drove around with her or not she was dead by then. But in the back of my mind I feel something odd about George, but i dont know what. If i were the juror it would be tough. The state did a awful job of on evidence and that is your whole trial. Idk one person could mess it up. If they all were in agreement it would be over now. So they are going to have hung jury. But personally I think she killed her. But IDK if state can convience 12 people. We will see.
Casey's murder of her child is just the natural action in a society that defends abortion when the conceived child is an inconvenience. In poor Caley's case, it was just a late, late term abortion.
So we should talk about opening up the law to post-birth euthanasia clinics. In a controlled environment, the State could facilitate the right to terminate pregnancy and motherhood. The process would be painless and dignified. And we could get over our presuppositions about the "bad" act of a mother killing her child.
This is about the mysterious death of a 2-year-old child. Not your soapbox.

I believe she is 110% guilty. Her family loved baby caley to much to do anything to her. Casey was wrapped up in her own crazy world. She didnt have anytime for caley. I do believe she should get the.death penalty as soon as possible. I think its crazy that all these men and woman sit and wait for years to be put to death. This is a sad story. all we can do is pray justice gets served.
If it was an accident, then why didn't she take her daughter to the hospital? She is self-centered, cold-hearted, and guilty as HELL!
Do I think she did it? YES.
Was this case substantiated by the prosecution for the death penalty? NO.
There is no proof she committed any of the crimes they charged her with.
Murder- not proven, manslaughter-not proven, child abuse-not proven, neglect-not proven OR corroborated by anybody, motive-not proven OR corroborated by anybody.
They may be able to get her for accessory after the fact, but ONLY because she confessed to helping her dad cover up the death, or obstruction of justice, but they didn't charge her with those, so..... she walks.

Ok, you tell me what evidence they had that proves Casey Anthony did it. From the flimsy evidence they have it could have been any person in that house that did it.
if it were an accident, why didn't she come up with that when first arrested? why did it take three years and the start of a trial to come up with that "pool drowning" defense?? WHY would anyone want to make an accident look like a murder? why hide your daughter's body in the back of your car?? if your daughter died of an accident, why not take her to the hospital? and if she DROWNED, why put duct tape on her nose/face/mouth??

Guilty!The little has no shoes, but socks on. There was the blanket and the backpack, in the laundry bag too.someone in that house killed her right there.The girl didn't die automatically by herself.
My gut says she did it. The unfortunate thing is that I do not believe the prosecution proved that beyond a reasonable doubt. Our judicial system is set up to protect its citizens from being unfairly convicted. As such the level of certainty to convict has to be so high and the only certainty in this case is that Casey is a liar and a mentally damaged person and her daughter is now dead. The how and why haven't been proven.

How can you throw your entire family under the bus with severe accusations (which I don't believe are true at all) just to save your own ass? Be an adult, take responsibility and hold yourself accountable for what you did!! It was a poor choice and ploy by the defense to use accusations and fingerpointing and I think Jose Baez is a complete idiot not only for taking this case but also for his tactics at trying to win the case. We will probably never know what really happened to poor, innocent Caylee... all because Casey was/is so selfish, jealous and irresponsible – Linda said it best in the rebuttal – touche!
Baez took this case because he is like so many other lawyers...to gain notoriety by getting his mug on TV and in the paper. To me he is as selfish as Casey. She should fry and he should be disbarred.

One thing that as humans, we seem to forget, that is we do not have a right to judge any man/womans soul on earth. that final right is up to God, and not man. The jurors have a legal right to determine whether or not she is guilty. But, no man on earth has the moral or legal right to judge any man/womans soul. That exclusive right is up to God, and God alone. Recall what Jesus said, " judge not, lest ye be judged". There is no thwarting Divine Law. In the end, her soul will be judged by God when she passes, just like all ours will be as well when we pass. Recall that Jesus did not come to save the righteous now did He? No, He did not. He came to save the vile, the unrightesous. To think that God would not have any interest in the outcome of her soul is ridonkulous, because He does. Even she can change. We all can. Despite opinions to the contrary, we all have a chance to accept God into our lives. Its up to us to decide if we want that opportunity or not. It does matter in the end whether or not we chose to accept Him who is above all things. Your eternal future depends on it. As does Casey Anonthony's eternal future. You cannot state that she will go to hell, because that is not your decision to make as a mortal man. That is up to God. Not us. Regardless of the outcome of the verdict, her soul is in the hands of God. Not man.
Please stick your god where the sun does not shine. We are the only judges here, this woman should be tortured, and her head cut off and put on a pike for the world to see. Examples must be made for child abuse and child murders.

Hate to burst your bubble. Yes, normal people who empathize etc can chance. Studies have proven the sociopathic and psychopathic personalities do not. They are incapable of relating to others in the same way normal people do – on a deep emotional level. A well educated friend of mine has a son she realized had sociopathic personality traits. She tried everything shrinks, schooling etc. Nothing worked. Today he is sentenced to life without the possibility for parole. The interesting part – absolutely no remorse for the person he murdered. No Casey cannot be rehabbed. She is what she is...
God should have stepped in to save this child from her monster mother. Too late now.
this case is crazy. I dont know where to begin. I feel Casey is DEFINITELY guilty.
The only questions still lingering are why George tried to kill himself? – guilt from killing Caylee and fear over being caught? or sadness from the news she was found?
and who it was that murdered Caylee?to me it seems that Caylee was suffocated by the duct tape (hopefully after the chlorophyll) and then most likely to cover up the mess that Casey created she tried to make it look like an accident. at this time her father arrived at the home ( possibly) ( or Casey did it herself) she then realized after having put Caylee into the pool that the chlorophyll will still be analyzed in the toxicology report. This was when she researched chilorophill on her computer. Casey then realizing that people would wonder where Caylee was, decided to distance herself from family and friends by making up people who were friends or acquaintances to get away without questioning from others around her. Once the smell started to resignate from Casey's car she knew she would have to dispose of the body in a common area not to close to home to prevent her from originally becoming prime suspect. I feel that Casey didn't want to dump her daughter into a swamp for her burial but at that point people were onto her and she felt that she had to get rid of the evidence asap. leading her to leave her daughter in that awful way, that is why i feel that she was crying when they released the photo's of Caylee, she was not wanting to see the way she had to leave her daughter originally.
she is guilty and she deserves what she has coming and 10x that amount that she had put upon her innocent daughters soul.
