Gotta Watch: Judging Casey Anthony case
It's the capital murder case that's held our attention this summer. But has the prosecution proved beyond a reasonable doubt that Casey Anthony intentionally murdered her daughter? The jury is beginning their deliberations today, and now it's your chance to weigh in. You've gotta watch the most pivotal moments from the defense and prosecution and judge for yourself whether Casey Anthony is guilty or innocent.
Prosecuting Casey Anthony – The state of Florida contends Casey Anthony cared more about partying and having a fun life than being a mother. It's her motive for murder, according to prosecutors. They paint her as a liar trying to live the good life at the expense of her daughter.

Defending Casey Anthony – The defense brought molestation allegations against Casey Anthony's father and brother during the trial. It pointed to George Anthony as the real culprit behind the toddler's death and cover-up. Most importantly, Casey Anthony's defense team relied upon the fact that Caylee Anthony's cause of death is undetermined. It believes that's the real reason there's not enough evidence to convict the Florida mother of murder.

I was hoping florida citizens were not as stupid as california citizens. but....casey GOD WILL take care of you I can promise you that and you have already lost your family, they hate you as much as we do!!!!!!!!
Jeff we heard you when you called everone who didnt share your opinion, neanderthals on your first post. People dont feel justice has been served because there is a dead 3 y/o baby & her mother (the last person to see her) didnt report her missing to authorities and then she lied to protect herself or someone else from the justice system. Considering her daughters dead body, whether she did it intentionally or didnt actually do it herself, she's guilty of a whole lot more than just lying to police. If this sets precedence anyone can just refuse to answer questions about a MURDER & just serve a few years for lying to officers, what a world this would be
You call this justice. There has to have been something going on other than what we were watch for the last 6 weeks. I give up and will never spend my time watching a circus like this again!!

I'm glad to see a jury can still tell fact from allagation. Obviously a crime was commited by someone, but, the investigators and the state's attornies failed to produce this pescky stuff called "evidence" – this frequently happens when they jump to s solution too fast and fail to investigate all possibilities. They need to prove a case, and disprove what didn't happen, and they failed to do that.
Joe you are wrong. Anytime someone lies they are covering up the truth.SO if Casey did not kill that baby then why would she lie. What was she trying to cover up.

I just hope that when Casey and Jose come out with a book that people will have enough sense not to buy it! If Casey becomes a millionare from killing her child, that would be horrible. Although I can't imagine she will be able to get any real job. Writing her jailhouse story may be her only means of future income. Unless Mom and Dad continue to support her.

I BET CASEY HAS LEARNED SOME POLICE TACTICS FROM HER DAD, AS SHE WAS RAISED! she knows what not to do , and how the system functions... SHE WAS TRAINED EITHER BY HER DAD, OR SHE OBSERVED HIM when he was in the force....
As a single mother of 5 i never even knew that this was a option..I raised my children the best i could with no help from their father..it took a lot of planning on all quilty persons involved to do this any child that is missing for 1 hour the police should have been called
Wow!!! Seriously? Was the jury blind or just dumb??? Either way it appears that they cared more about saving the life of a murderer as opposed to serving justice for the victim. I am very displeased. My heart goes out to Cindy and George Anthony. As for Casey, karma will undoubtedly resurface....... she thinks she has gotten away with taking that precious baby girl's life???......patience.......in due time.

HOW can a murderer get off free? Do your crimes here in the US! OJ Simpson and now Casey Anthony! I am grief stricken for that precious little angel, Caylee, may you rest in peace. I pray that she did not see her mother trying to kill her. How can the defense team go to bed tonight and know that they helped this MONSTER(Casey), get off with such a terrible crime as mudering your own child, acuse your father and brother of molesting her and open hatred of her own mother. George and Cindy Anthony are surely heart broken that justice was not found for Caylee. NOTHING! She can go on and have other children, and just kill those too, when she gets tired of them, put them in the pet cemetery! wow. only in America! The prosecutors for the state of Florida, did a wonderful job and really put their hearts and soul into this case and I would like for them to get some credit, for their part in this case. It's the jury that didn't do their job! They were tired and wanted to go home, and that is exactly what happened. How can they put their heads down tonight and know what they did, or didn't do? God has taken you home to be with Jesus, many people have prayed for you and are so sorry that the right thing was not done for you. As a grandmother of a 30 month old little girl, I can't even start to understand what George and Cindy are feeling right now. I don't think I'd want her back at my house, because they know Casey murdered their little angel. No lying is going to explain this injustice! This family doesn't have a chance of anything normal in their lives. Where do murderers go, even if they are found NOT GUILTY, in her heart she knows she did it. Who in their right mind would want anything to do with this evil person? Maybe the defense will hire her to babysit their children! wow! the prosecution made up a crazy tale. There was no proof or murder nor weather Casey ever laid a hand on her child. No history of abuse. And just because she liked to party..doesnt make her a murdered. I think it was an accident like she said. Not Murder! the prosection tried to go for murder and that was their mistake. Tried to make a name for themselves and now there is no justice for Caylee.

What a shame! It's the American way.... Next they will have her endorsing a book and making a movie about this and she will become rich and famous at the expense and loss of a precious child. I am a mother of a 8 year old little girl and she is never out of my sight. As a parent you do not have the luxury of disappearing. Clearly, this woman was not interested in being a mother and what goes around comes around. Justice was not served today in this case.
AMAZING! Isn't it interesting that the entire country watches this trial and are convinced that Casey killed her child. Who is this jury??? Where were they when the evidence was presented? Not surprising that we have another broken system in this country. Please do not support Casey's ability to profit from this crime, nor anyone who served on the jury or the Defense team. Send a message that "we are fed up and won't take this anymore"!
how is it broken? INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY! you dont even know all the facts and you are accusing her of bein guilty. Its the other way around. NOT GUILTY UNTIL PROVEN INNOCENT. Blame it on the prosection. They failed to show a reason of death or that Casey ever abused her child. All they showed was that she liked to party? is that a crime?
