Gotta Watch: Judging Casey Anthony case

It's the capital murder case that's held our attention this summer. But has the prosecution proved beyond a reasonable doubt that Casey Anthony intentionally murdered her daughter? The jury is beginning their deliberations today, and now it's your chance to weigh in. You've gotta watch the most pivotal moments from the defense and prosecution and judge for yourself whether Casey Anthony is guilty or innocent.

Prosecuting Casey Anthony – The state of Florida contends Casey Anthony cared more about partying and having a fun life than being a mother. It's her motive for murder, according to prosecutors. They paint her as a liar trying to live the good life at the expense of her daughter.

Defending Casey Anthony – The defense brought molestation allegations against Casey Anthony's father and brother during the trial. It pointed to George Anthony as the real culprit behind the toddler's death and cover-up. Most importantly, Casey Anthony's defense team relied upon the fact that Caylee Anthony's cause of death is undetermined. It believes that's the real reason there's not enough evidence to convict the Florida mother of murder.

Only he who has not sinned can cast that first stone. There are 10 commandments, 1 of which is not illegal. Adultery, equally destructive and traumatizing. No cheater should comment or accuse.
In any case, the judge almost threw the case out. I played with the facts of this case over a million times in my head, and cannot come to finding Casey guilty. There is a great coverup, a great family secret or lie. I feel that she is may be wrongully charged. I cannot tell who is protecting who, and who wants to see who in jail, but I don't feel 100% without reasonable doubt, that Casey did this, or did this alone. The crime scene was made to deceive, to make authorities believe that someone duct taped her and threw her away, it was not deliberate, it was not how she died. Something WORST happened, that would have made the family look WORST. Casey is traumatized. She would suffer PTSD, she would be disassociated and not have any feeling after the event. I can't get over that her father may have been involved. I can't shake it, its in the back of my mind all the time. A former cop, who knew how to create a crime scene. A mother who says 'she' looked up 'chloroform'. Something terrible happened to that child, that had to be covered up. It was not an accident, it was something more shameful. Casey is diassociated, none of her behaviour will make sense to you, especially immediately after the shocking disposal of her sweet baby. We seriously cannot tell if she and her father were protecting her mother or her brother. We may know one day, or never. But God knows. If you actually believe in human justice, then you should stop believing in God. The two, are completely separate. Humans should not be allowed to cast that first stone. Ever. What if Casey was Black? 250 years ago? when she was a slave? Would there be justice for her baby? or for her. Human justice, errs. Let God handle this. Based on what I know about God's Love, the purity, and reality of that type of love,, she can be forgiven, by Jesus, and by God. Neither one, needs US, to make that happen. God loves Casey, regardless of what you think. I know this, for as long as her mother, and her family show her love, then God, who is a trillion times more forgiving and loving, loves her even more. It is now, that if she begs him for forgiveness, if she did do anything wrong, that he will turn and ask her ' who have you forgotten'.
Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. Means, we forgive , so that we can be forgiven, not for justice, or to feel better, but because, one day, you will beg for forgiveness as well.
I can promise you that. A violation of any one of the 10 commandments, makes you no less different from Casey.
I haven't met anyone, who has not violated at least 1 of the 10 commandments. Trust me, that in God's eyes, you are all equal, in your violations, and that your ability to forgive others, of the most heinous crimes, is the sole reason, why God will forgive you.

@Grasshopper I am also a Christian and I know God forgives and He is a loving God. But God only forgives those who ask for forgiveness. This woman never asked for forgiveness nor she admitted doing something wrong while she was out partying and getting a tattoo while her child is missing. I know God has a reason for all of this but you can't say that this woman has been wrongfully charged. No one will benefit from the situation if Caylee is dead but only Casey. So she can live a carefree life without the responsibility of taking care of her child.

@Grasshopper And don't use or say God's name to people who don't believe in God. If Casey believes in God she would have the fear not to do what she has done.

Caysee couldn't even be truthful about who the father of Kaylee was. She told at least four different stories to as many people. I will be so concerned if she has more children. I also think it interesting when people see the videos of Caysee playing with Caylee, they say 'she is such a loving mother'. Well, remember Susan Smith? They also showed videos of a very loving, involved mother and she drove her children into a lake so they could drown.

Agree. The "wonderful mother' didn't bother to even get a job to support her child. She was living at her parent's expense, like a leech. So she plaid with her child on a video? Who gives a damn about that? If she truly cared for her child she would have worked to support her, to giver her all she could. And she would have worked on finding a nice father to give her a real family.

I see a lot of posts talking about motive and it being only speculation. Every motive ever presented by a prosecution is ALWAYS speculation. Example.....the wife took out a $1 million dollar life insurance policy for their husband...that doesn't prove without a doubt that is was murder..speculation. The parent was in a relationship with a man who didn't want children.....speculation-no written or verbal proof of this (susan smith)......the person wanted to avoid costly divorce and child support...(speculation for MANY cases involving a spouse murdering a spouse- scott peterson) It comes to a point where common sense and logic need to prevail. Unless you hear it from the defendent's mouth or see it in their writing it is always speculation.

No matter how you look at this, there is absolutely no way this could have been an accident. And to watch this person walk away and having to take the bragging from her attorneys and their continual assertion that this was an accident makes me sick to my stomach. But there is something called karma and it happens on earth, and it will start when no one buys her books or watch her movies or buy the magazines featuring her. We need to boycott anything that can make this murderer rich on the murder she committed.

LETS NOT BUY ONE SINGLE THING THAT HAS THE NAME OF CASEY ANTHONY ON IT. IF SHE BECAME RICH ON THE DEATH OF HER CHILD THAT WOULD BE THE LAST STRING OF INJUSTICE IN THE WORLD.

CASEY WAS A WONDERFUL MOTHER. The "wonderful mother' didn't bother to even get a job to support her child. She was living at her parent's expense, like a leech. If she truly cared for her child she would have worked to support her, to giver her all she could. And she would have worked on finding a nice father to give her a real family. I wish I had been on that jury to make sure others didn't buy into the sugar coated videos that lead them to believe she was a good mother. She was not. She was a selfish woman who killed her baby to have fun. Period.

The defense is acting as this is an innocent person who was saved from the jaws of a mob of lynchers. How far away from the truth is that. Anyone having been paying attention to the allegations of the defense knows THERE IS NO WAY THIS COULD EVER BE AN ACCIDENT.

Her parents must be kicking themselves for having helped her to get out of this one. Just look at their reaction. They didn't even speak to her after the veredict. They know damn well she did it. And so do any intelligent person that has been paying attention to the trial.

did an online search for her fraud cases and she received 415 days for that charge and got time served, if that's the case then they should deduct that time and add the 415 days to this charge. Before she gets out slap her with the added time and with the gain time allowed at least she would serve another 10 month's. Called the state's attny's office and told them and sent me to a recording that is supposed to be reviewed daily, contacted the sheriffs dept and they told me to get in touch with the attny's office. Doubt if this will be heard!! Thanks for reading

There were convincing lies being told that the prosecution was not able to rebut.
For instance, George sleeping around and making statements “an accident snowballed out of control”. George the cop could see the dots were not connecting and concluded that his daughter killed Caylee. He should have admitted to saying it and explained why he made the remark. Lying about the affair and lying about the statement left me wondering what else is he lying about. Is he lying about not molesting his daughter. The jury must decide who is responsible for the accident snowballing, George or Casey. Was the meter guy waiting to see if the reward would go up. He tampered with the remains, admitted to poking a stick in the eye socket. Did he also disturb the tape covering Caylees face.
Kronk’s testimony along with his sons testimony plus the expert lying from the witnesses left a lot of unanswered questions.
I believe Casey Anthony is a pathological liar and a sociopath. I believe she premeditatedly killed Caylee because Cindy caught her stealing, writing numerous checks in both Cindy and the Grandparents checking accounts and cashing them. Cindy told Casey to get out on June 16, 2008. Casey had no where to take Caylee. There was no baby sitter and her new boyfriend made it clear he did not want to be a father. She killed Caylee because, in her mind, Cindy left her no choice.
    The prosecution aimed too high.
Not enough evidence to support murder, manslaughter or aggravation.
Overwhelming evidence to support Child Neglect or Child endangerment.
Wow, the American dream come true, millions of dollars in book deals, interviews, talk shows, Zanny the Nanny dolls. Casey can live in the lap of luxury, choose any life she wants.

    Hey people,
    leave her alone
judgement is over, if she were the real killer then she would pay the price. example OJ Simpson. she cannot live in public, her conscience will kill herself every single day if she were the real killer.
