A man who held several people hostage in Grand Rapids, Michigan, killed himself, Police Chief Kevin Belk said Thursday night.

The sad thing is, you're probably allowed in public, without chains or helpers.

There is DNA proof that Lee wasn't the father of Caylee. There is also DNA proof that George isn't the father either.

What's up with all these low scores these days? I guess since he hadn't played the map before 7/1 is a pretty good ratio.

It must have been really hard to shoot those children. Given they're size they're not that easy to hit.

I just want to say that I pray for the families involved in the murder as i grew up in Michigan. And about CA its over and she was seen as not guilty and the only one who will ever know the truth is Casey and God and theres nothing anyone can do now. Yes it is very sad and it dont matter guilty or not guilty a child still passed away and the worst part isnt that Casey got away, its the fact that this childs death remains a mystery. As far as blacks in jail look in the mirror before you judge no ones perfect

I challenged you all before and I do so again, if you really believe the Anthony jury got the verdict right then I challenge you to publicly offer Casey a job if you're in a position to do so, either by owning your own business or by being a manager in a position to hire personnel. Time for you all to put up or shut up.

Quit knocking on the guy, he didn't have a trial so we don't know I he was guilty of a crime or not, how do we know it wasn't someone who just happened to look like him who committed the murders? It is possible with a good jury like Anthony's it's probably a very good possibility.

Why is everyone hating on him when he didn't even have a chance of defending himself? It wasn't like he was rich or looked like Casey Anthony, once the police named him a suspect he was doomed to react the way he did because he knew he didn't have a prayer of getting off.

That was the best police parade I've seen in my life. Wow, 25 plus police cars following one car on rims and they can't stop him. Did they know they were allowed to stop him or even take him out? There should be police suspensions and resignations tendered over this....to allow guy to cruise the city, then drive against the flow of traffic endangering more lives than he just took is embarassing. Did it ever occur to them that maybe, just maybe he wasn't intent on just driving north to the bridge and that maybe he wanted to get away? huh? Of course he was going to cross medians. Not one guy thought about taking him out? Why, why couldn't 10 of those 25 plus cars get in front of him? Or how about a sniper from a copter taking him or the car out? Then the most embarassing thing is allowing the guy to get back to his neighborhood enter a home and take hostages. There's no excuse for that. So much for public safety.
