Boat sinks in Russian river, killing at least 1 passenger

A ship carrying 173 people sailing in Russia's Volga River sank on Sunday, leaving at least one person dead, emergency officials said.

At least 78 people have been rescued.

The "Bulgaria" carrying 140 passengers and 33 crew members sank at about 2 p.m. (6 a.m. ET) in the Tatarstan region, said Oleg Zugeyev, spokesman for the Volga district of the country's ministry of emergencies.

    Where are the other 94 people. It say only 78 have been rescued and One dead that leave 94 people. So where are they.

    @tatyana: I think you actually reap what you sow, and it might surprise you to know that comedy is a coping mechanism.

    I'm not laughing at the notion that people are suffering – people suffer all the time everywhere. In order to prevent becoming a depressed tub of goo daily, i laugh.

    You do whatever you do, and, unlike you, i promise not to tell you how to feel. Deal?

    And when i go, i'd prefer people laughing to people crying. Isn't there enough crying going on as it is?
