Norway terror suspect claims to have worked with 2 other cells

The suspect in the worst attack in Norway since World War II has acknowledged carrying out the attacks and claims to have worked with two other cells, a judge said Monday.

He defended the attacks as necessary to combat the "colonization" of Norway by Muslims, Judge Kim Heger said.

The suspect said he worked with two cells to carry out the attacks, Heger said. Other court officials said they could not confirm the existence of the cells and referred questions to the police.

Heger ordered the suspect to remain in custody for at least eight weeks, until his next scheduled court appearance, as authorities continue to investigate a bombing in Oslo and an attack at a nearby island that together killed dozens of people.

Who, exactly is this "everyone"? Why would you assume something - anything - based on no evidence at all?

All this proves that right-wing fanaticism is not exclusively an American problem now that anti-Islam seems to have spread to Europe.

Life stumbles on with an awkward void for humanity. The one thing in life you would think we all would cherish…but society as a whole has chosen to squander humanity instead of saving it.

It doesn't make sense. If you're p.o'd about the Muslims, why would you kill your own people. If I hated a group enough to want to kill, I would kill them not my own.

The people he targeted were from the oppositional party that favors diversity in their culture, The Labour Party.

Good morning Scottish Mama. It "seems"? Religions and the men who run them have either started every war, or were chomping at the bit to get involved in them...throughout history. This isn't "seemingly" the case, it is in FACT the case. Organized religions have always recruited their fleeced-flock's young men for whatever government their church is ruled by. A classic example: WW2, where we had Catholic's murdering Catholic's...Geman priest's catering to Hitler, American priest's catering to the White House. "Kill Catholics! Do kill them" is a famous poster that German priest's had made when their flock was wondering if it's OK by God for them to be killing fellow Catholics. In America, Catholic priest's were flying American flags as they recruited troops for Uncle Sam. One priest even sprinkled 'holy water' and asked foor god to somehow bless bombs...bombs aimed at a Catholic nunnery in Nagasaki. A Catholic church in Dresden, more in Berlin...decimated by 'holy' bombs, even after the war was over.(cont.)

...these so-called "christian" religions are NOT Christlike. So glaringly obvious this is was even noted by a famous non-christian, Mohandus Ghandi, his thoughts? "I love Jesus yet I despise Christians. For they do not do as Jesus did". Ghandi could see the hypocricy, can you?

Good Morning Philip- Yes, in short. I just think it is scary how many people kill in the name of their god. Warring against each other, my god is better or more right than your god. If it does not stop the end will be self fulfilling prophacy. Philip, you are a bloggin' history lesson.(smiling)

I agree, but I seem to have missed the part where they identified this killer with any christian religion. As far as the information goes he says he is part of an anti muslim immigration group... so he's more against immigration than he is against the muslim religion. A lot of people immediately assumed that he WAS muslim. I think a lot more needs to come out before we take sides, declare the other one wrong, and then move on in an erroneous assumption that we are working from a point of information.
