Aruban judge orders U.S. man held 16 more days

A judge ruled Monday that there was enough evidence to continue holding a U.S. man in connection with the case of a missing American woman, Aruba's solicitor general said.

Gary Giordano, 50, was arrested by Aruban police on August 5, three days after Robyn Gardner, 35, was last seen.

The decision to hold Giordano for 16 more days was issued after a jailhouse hearing Monday afternoon, Aruban Solicitor General Taco Stein said.

I think a good idea would be to see if Gary Giordano was at Aruba when Natalie Holloway disappeared six years ago. What do you think?

I would think that's been checked into, Terry, but if it hasn't, hopefully it will be.

Everyone involved in the case know this guy was involved with the hamburglar and mayor macheese in the coverup. It is evedent in all of his actions. From discarding the overcooked fries to mopping up the spilled fountain drink. I think he may be the macrib bandit.

Some people do get away with murder.
I hate knowing that somebody could get away with murdering me, but I wouldn't know the outcome of the trial anyway.
One cannot prove murder without evidence, no matter how much one "just knows" whodunit.
The requirement of evidence to prove guilt is better than erroneously putting innocent "but-you-just-know" suspects to death or sending them to prison for life.

The three individuals involved in this unfortunate situation lack any form of intelligence or common sense. The woman goes on a trip with a known offender of woman, she has known him occassionaly for less than a year. What is she doing with a live in boyfriend then going out of country with this other guy??? SOunds too much like a friends with benefits. And where in the world is the so called boyfriends head at?? Then we have Giordano taking an insurance policy out and trying to cash it in within w2 days after she goes missing. These are some of the most ignorant individuals I have ever heard of. I feel very bad for the family of the woman, but where were/are they? Why are they not coming out and voicing with their daughter missing and more than likely dead?? Too many strange characteristics here.......there is more to this than meets the eye and eventually it will come out.
