On the Radar: Obama bus tour, Aruba missing case, market turmoil

Three things you need to know today.

Obama on tour: President Barack Obama is expected to talk about strategies for creating jobs and improving the economy during a three-day bus tour through part of the Midwest beginning Monday.

"Many Americans are hurting badly right now.  Many have been unemployed for too long.  Putting these men and women back to work, and growing wages for everyone, has got to be our top priority," the president said in his weekly radio address on Saturday.

Obama is scheduled to take a 360-mile trip through Minnesota, Iowa and Illinois, meeting groups of small-business owners and other people at rural events. On Monday, he'll have town hall events in Cannon Falls, Minnesota, and Decorah, Iowa. (CNN's Wolf Blitzer takes you along for the ride on Obama's bus tour. Join Wolf for a one-on-one interview with the president, Tuesday at 6 p.m. ET on "The Situation Room.")

On Thursday, the president and his family will head to Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts – his summer vacation site of choice for the third straight year.

Missing in Aruba: A U.S. man being held in Aruba in connection with the case of a missing American woman will appear in court Monday, a judicial official said.

An investigating magistrate could order Gary Giordano, 50, held for at least eight more days, order him to remain on the island or release him due to a lack of evidence, according to Aruban Solicitor General Taco Stein.

Giordano was arrested by Aruban police on August 5, three days after Robyn Gardner, 35, was last seen near Baby Beach on the western tip of the Caribbean island.

Financial markets: This week could be just as bumpy as last week's wild ride, as Wall Street continues to deal with the fallout of S&P's downgrade, the problems in Europe and the fate of the U.S. economy, CNNMoney reports.

On Monday, investors will get the Empire Statement manufacturing index at 8:30 a.m. ET. The manufacturing survey fell into negative territory in July, which means manufacturing activity contracted during the period. Investors will be looking to see if that trend continues for a second month.

Retailers reporting their results Monday include Urban Outfitters and home improvement chain Lowe's. Analysts expect that Lowe's earned 66 cents a share and Urban Outfitters earned 32 cents a share.

So Mr. President, once again you are a great disappointment. You have absolutely nothing of merit to run on for your bid for re-election. Get back to Washington DC and let us hear all the great "...new job ideas...." you are so secretly holding on to for American's. You are the problem when will you admit it. The fact of the matter is this, shared sacrifices, perhaps you and yours should set an example. You are the reason we went through the downgrades because all you have done is spend, print, spend, print..... Then you stop playing smooth talking con games Mr. President. You are the one "...playing shinanagans".... Stop talking please, no one is listening. You and your puppet masters, Unions, Soros, and the like are succeeding in the grand master plan. Communism....Stop Talking, start listening and stop spending. Our free market works, get out of the way. We do not want you to worry about our jobs, just get out of the way. Now we have 3+ wars. Ron Paul for 2012!

Shhhhhh Please!!!!!!! Listening to you scold us, creating division within our wonderful country is disgusting. Leave the old people and the college students out of your loosing plans. You cut your bus tour, and get to working for all of us... no one wants to hear your stories anymore. Be quiet, shhh! What is the upshot? Tell us sir...you are not fixing anything, in fact you are now the biggest problem of all. There are no jobs, because you are making sure of that. That is what I am asking, when are you going to meet your responsibilities? Yes it is what I voted for a divided government to STOP YOU and YOUR socialist vexed helpers. We are expecting you to be accountable. Our voices are speaking, now you start listening. You pay attention to the voices you are not listening too. Be confident in this fact, you are not proving yourself to be a "patriot" at all.

The conservative party of the Congress refuses to compromise even when it is in their favor? Do tell... how this president can create jobs? He is the president not BoA LOL, come on. He tried to create jobs w/ infrastructure and the senate killed it. Why are you blaming him? UnINFORMED Voter You ARE. BTW he's looking out for the old, young and poor, the best he can – check your congressmans' votes you might see different...hmmmmm...

I tell you what! Obama is one hell of a campaigner! To bad his leadership and ability to run the country isn't on par with all the crap he preaches on his 4 year campaign.

In Obama's speech in Decorah Iowa tonight, he told lies, including a conversation that he says he had with former Iowa Governor Vilsack "on the bus on the way here". Anyone who watched CNN coverage of the event saw Wolf Blitzer interviewing former Governor Vilsack 15 minutes before Obama arrived and Wolf Blitzer specified just prior to the interview that Obama was just crossing the Iowa/Minnesota border, 15 minutes away. If he can lie about something as simple as that, what makes anyone believe that he is telling the truth about anything else?

aruba girl was held and tube removed from her mouth . when she drown and fell to the bottom he covered her body with rocks to hide and weight her down. this is why he chose this rocky area instead of the nicer sandy beaches, which confused the local police.
