India's Hazare begins anti-corruption fast

Indian activist Anna Hazare began a public hunger strike in the country's capital Friday, accompanied by thousands of cheering supporters.

The 74-year-old campaigner, who is seeking stronger anti-corruption measures in India, was greeted by crowds as he left a jailhouse in New Delhi earlier to make his way to the city's large Ramlila Grounds.

He will stage the two-week protest there after police relaxed their conditions. Supporters say he began fasting while still in jail.

Hazare traveled from the jail in an open-top truck decorated with Indian flags, as thousands of citizens marched along.

    The ENRON corporation still operates the powerplant they built in India with funds they stole from US. The Ng-fired plant get's it's natural-gas from The Carlyle Group's Caspian Basin holdings. Don't bother writing your congressman. All higher-up politicians know what ENRON did and is doing. Obviously, they approve.

    On January 9 of this year, India paid the ENRON corporation 29 million dollars. The final installment check. Now all India does is pay ENRON for electricity generated by the paid-for powerplant.

    The ENRON corporation was busted bilking hundreds of billions from Americans. Their accounting firm was also busted, so they changed their name to Andersen Consulting and moved offshore to the Cayman Islands, as is the modern custom. ENRON scarificed an old man who was on his deathbed anyway, and high-tailed it to India, where they prosper to this very day.

    The ENRON corporation was founded by the same men who founded The Carlyle Group. Men who were high-level politicians while in office. Two of them are former Presidents! Now they individually profit from ENRON SELLIING ELECTRICITY TO INDIA, and not just from electric bills. ENRON's powerplant in India produces electricity by burning Ng purchased from the same men who founded ENRON, politicians who only wave the American flag when someone is looking.
