Janet Jackson: Michael tribute is 'too difficult for me'

Janet Jackson joined brothers Jermaine and Randy on Tuesday in opposing the October tribute concert for Michael Jackson because it takes place during the trial of the doctor charged in their brother's death.

While Janet Jackson stopped short of criticizing the promoters or other members of her family who support the tribute, she did put to rest any rumors that she would perform in it.

"Because of the trial, the timing of this tribute to our brother would be too difficult for me," she said in a statement sent to CNN by her representative Tuesday.

    Michael loved children, the children loved Michael. His love and concern for children was a sincere and true. There will be no justice until the media is not an apology for the death of Michael Jackson. No man could stand such attacks. He was persecuted in the inhuman way. Michael was persecuted, humiliated, ridiculed by the media. Media have launched a campaign of hatred against Michael. This is what happened on June 25 was the result of many years of persecution. Man is not a machine. How could he sleep normally. Media did not allow him to experience a moment of peace. So many years of torture had to have an effect on his health.
    In addition, Michael was sick (lupus, vitiligo). Sick man needs support. Michael had no support. He was alone with his disease and his pain. Media must look in the mirror. Media manipulated public opinion. The media should now repair the harm that caused Michael, his fans, his mother and children. The media should apologize. Bad people and media rotated his sincere love and care for their children against him.
    America had a great treasure. Discover this treasure.
    Bring back the truth about this wonderful man !!!.

      Paul...you are right....Michael was sent here...not only for music...but to bring ALL people together, through his music.
