A lawyer for two American hikers held in Iran for more than two years told CNN on Saturday that Iranian authorities are close to signing documents that could mean the pair are released on bail from Tehran's Evin prison.
Masoud Shafiee, attorney for Josh Fattal and Shane Bauer, said he was "very hopeful" they might be released Saturday.
On Tuesday, the lawyer raised hopes that the pair might soon be freed. Shafiee said the two men could be released after a $500,000 bail was paid for each of them.

@saywhat. Must you be so vulgar?
Free speech. So shut up.
Hey saywhat I've eagerly been awaiting your "Remembering the House of Jim" series. What's taking so long.
I still don't understand how they can call this bail.
In any case, I hope these two have the sense never to do anything so foolhardy again.
Not the real JIF.

I never resort to vulgarity or writing out of context. Pl be wary.
My last hike was on the Long Trail in VT, its beautiful. I'm sure the Iran trail is also, but Ill play right in the USA for now.
You do that funky
So both these hikers have to "camel up" half a mil to be released!? That was a very expensive hike! Hope they have some good hiking boots, they'll have to hitch hike it back to the States, now that they're broke! Lol!!
I think if thier smart they'll release them, and on their way out they ought to replace all thier camera gear and let them take all the photos they want.
