    This doesn't bode well.
    Why would terrorists attack Turkey?
    Aren't they relatively neutral?

    I kinda thought the same thing though, Scottish Mama-maybe a deep-fry gone awry?

    Sottish Mama's remark reminds me of the bemoning of all the losses in baseball friend was making at breakfast yesterday morning, it made me wonder if anyone was winning. I mean, if someone losses in baseball, doesn't that mean someone won?

    I guess I ought to confess, a spoiled dinner is what I thought of also. How did an American bird get named for a country half way around the world?

    And this is a case in which the headline does NOT say it all.

    @banasy,

    Turkey could be called relatively neutral in that they are on speaking terms with Hamas. This was likely a PKK attack. I guess not all terrorists get along with each other.

    It is sad and unfortunate that innocent lives were taken by terrorists in Turkey. Undoubtedly, Turkey will respond militarily and rightfully so. But how is this different from the response of the Israeli Government to homicidal bombings against Israeli citizens? I am sure that the Turkish Government would want to cut off the flow to those who committed this heinous crime in Turkey. How is this different from Israel seeking to interdict the flow of weapons into Gaza that will and have been used against israeli civilians? This seems like a hypocritical position on the part of the the Turkish leadership. If it is not hypocritical please explain to me how it is not. Again, my condolences to the families of those who were lost today in Turkey.

    Dennis L.: You are trying to employ facts, logic and reason. This does not work when dealing with Islamists and their bed-fellows. It only confuses them.
