Yemeni president returns home

Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh has returned home after undergoing treatment in Saudi Arabia, a government spokesman said Friday.

Saleh returned to Yemen after a three-month medical stay in Saudi Arabia, said Mohammed Albasha, the Yemeni government spokesman.

Protesters have been calling for the ouster of the longtime president, who had been recuperating from injuries he received in a June attack on his palace. He has vowed to finish his term.

President Saleh returned to Yemen today to the shouts and cheers of all his people. The streets were lined with throngs of ardent admirers, all of them yelling in unison, " We are so happy for your return. Please don't ever leave us again, for you are so loved by your people that we would be willing to take the next RPG for you. "

Lol, bobcat2u! Yep, this thread is about as popular as Saleh! 2 posts before me & that's with all weekend to write! Poor Yemenies, now they have him to deal with again! I'm sure they will overthrow their corrupt government in time, but having the prez back will slow down the process & more will be killed!!
