Gotta Watch: Fight fight fight!

Sometimes after a long work week, there's just nothing better than kicking back, relaxing and watching some downright dirty fight videos.  The problem is, there are so many of these videos, it's hard to pick which ones are the best.  Here are just a few brawl videos you've gotta watch...starting with one that was newly released of some Florida high school football players throwing some serious punches at the end of a game.

Post-game punches - You'd think they would have got their aggression out during the game, but two high school football teams in Florida felt otherwise.  Check out the video that got a number of students suspended from the teams.

Wild night at gas station - A simple trip to the gas station turns a RaceTrac into the grounds for a real life fight club.  The only question...why is one of the women not wearing any pants?

When goodwill goes bad - There isn't much goodwill going on during this goodwill basketball game in China. Check out how it all unfolds.

News is a dangerous profession - What's so great about this video is that it's during a live news broadcast in Italy.  You've gotta watch what happens right behind the anchor desk.

The best brawls? Really? Is this what passes for news on a major news organization? Is CNN a tabloid now?
The entire network ought to be ashamed.

That is pretty sick. It's only going to get worse to. The line between true journalism (if it even exists anymore) and entertainment is quickly being obliterated. To paraphrase a famous quote, "Beware of the Infotainment industrial complex". It's going to turn us all into mindless droolers.

I completely agree. Glorifying teen violence at a football game? What message does that send to our kids? Go kick butt at a game and maybe you'll be featured on CNN. CNN is starting to really live up to the name "lame stream media" unfortunately. Time to find news at a site that has integrity.

A Week of Respect and School Violence Awareness Week begins October 17-21. Many schools in our nation will be promoting this next month. CNN ran some great articles last year on bullying and other themes that coincided with the week. "Greatest Brawls" in the same place they will be promoting Respect and School Violence Awareness next month. Way to go CNN!

CNN...way to make a customer watch an advertisment before every video on every page of your website. Can't 1-2 per visit to the website each day be enough?

CNN, you show 4 videos on one page and I have to watch a stupid commercial for each one? No wonder you publish videos of mindless news stories like best brawls. I guess I might as well start looking at Yahoo's OMG web site for my news, eh?

Zero coverage of peaceful protests in and around wall st, but hey lets show a hs football fight.... Are you insinuating that violence is the only way to be noticed?

I'm with Pertnear – I'm done with CNN videos if I have to watch the same dumb commercial 4 times in ONE collection. I expect to have to watch a commercial once – but 4 times – I'm more likely to NEVER use one of those dang hotels. Too annoyed.

  9. Really CNN?

Come on CNN, really? What kind of message does this send to people? It's like the crazy hits on the NFL...trying to hurt guys to get on Sports Center. The NFL now fines these guys. Why would you glamorize fighting? Not classy. I would expect more from the world's news center.

The bigger story here is when was the last time an NFL player threw a punch to kevlar-stregnth helmet, and why do idiots (fans) watch these shoving matches as though there would ever actually be a real fight?

Whine, complain, whine, complain. You guys are just a bunch of whiny complainers. There are about ten different catagories of News on every news and newspaper site. People have different choices and different tastes They clearly marked this brawls. You guys knew what it was going to be. You then clicked on the link, watched the brawls and then complain that they put brawls on a news site. So what? They have a sports section too and an entertainment section and a politics section and a health sectionand many other sections to choose from. If you didn't want to watch brawls why did you click on the link that said brawls you big baby's.

This is journalism? Sifting through the lamest and most pathetic youtube videos of people who can't control themselves and posting the "best" ones. If the article (can you call it that) was exploring the links between violence and other types of behavior (drinking or sports) then it would have some value. But the headline is "Gotta Watch. Fight! Fight! Fight!" How utterly pathetic. You have abandoned every shred of journalistic integrity. You're like the lame losers gathering in the circle around two students, shouting encouragements to fight. Shame.

the only video they should have shown was the news anchor fight as evidence on how ridiculous the media has become. all the other videos, especially the football and the gas station fight is a disgusting abuse of power by the media.
