Death toll rises in Egypt Christian clashes as tension continues

The number of dead in clashes between the army and pro-Coptic Christian protesters in Egypt over the weekend rose to at least 25, with at least 272 wounded, a Healthy Ministry official told CNN Monday.

But conflicting reports from the two sides indicated the death toll could be as high as 29 in violence that an army spokesman speculated may have been guided by a "hidden hand" associated with neither side.

Many of the dead and injured were crushed by speeding military vehicles, said Dr. Adel al-Dawi of the ministry.

    Like George Patton already said, the Military Council which now governs Egypt needs to hand over power to the Socialists and work with them to restore order and build a Socialist state in order to lead Egypt to prosperity. Moreover, it needs to ensure that Hosni Mubarak and his worthless cronies get a fair trial and be punished for what they did.

    When my father died, by the time I canceled a few concerts and flew to Mississippi from California, my mother had already selected a casket based of their previous decision not to "bury the money."
    I took one look at it and said no.
    I told her, "I don't care. I'll pay for the whole thing myself, but you can't bury him in that."
    While the salesman–that's what I said–was showing us other models, he said, "now, this unit has an adjustable mattress."
    My mother got one of those pragmatic-Southern-lady looks on her face and said, "well, he's just as dead as he can be."

    To be an Arab has become a good thing. People all over the Arab world feel a sense of pride in shaking off decades of cowed passivity under dictatorships that ruled with no deference to popular wishes. And it has become respectable in the West as well. Egypt is now thought of as an exciting and progressive place;

    We can see again that when Arabs kill other Arabs, no one cares much. one hidden head line here, and one over there. But hey, when the Israeli Government kills one poor Arab. Then STOP!!!!

    1 Arab.... do the math. for the News, a 1 Arab kill by Israeli is more important then 24 Killed by fellow Egyptians... Strange?!!!! Conspiracy?!!!!

    Asthma education is key in helping you deal with both the condition of asthma and its effects. There is much you can do for yourself, both in terms of avoiding possible trigger factors and in keeping the body in a relaxed and calm state.
