Israel releases list of Palestinian prisoners to be swapped
Israel early Sunday released the names of the first group of Palestinian prisoners to be freed in exchange for captured Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit, setting in motion a process that will allow the public to file objections to specific releases.
The list features 477 names, including those of Ahlam Tamimi, serving life terms for a suicide bombing at a Jerusalem restaurant, and Amneh Muna, who plotted the killing of a 16-year-old Israeli boy in 2001 and received a life sentence.
Israel approved the deal Tuesday night, agreeing to release in two stages 1,027 Palestinians prisoners, including hundreds serving life sentences for attacks on Israelis. The first swap is expected to take place early this week.
Twenty-seven of the prisoners are women. The second stage, which includes 550 prisoners, will occur later this year.

The Israelis are clearly better people.
Israel arrests thousands of palestinians and holds them as prisoners if they resist occupation. However... what about Israeli soldiers who have been responsible for the deaths of thousands and thousands of Palestinians. Perhaps they should serve as prisoners in palestinian jails? Galid was a Soldier, went to war, and captured in this conflict - it is absolutely fair to do a prisoner swap.
Are you forgetting that Hamas ignored the Geneva conventions?
"Resisting occupation" by murdering civilians is... MURDER and should be punished by life in prison or execution. Defending your country by fighting its enemies during a war is not a crime but an OBLIGATION of every citizen. It were the Arabs who started the war and it's the Arabs who're wiling it to continue, therefore, it's the Arabs who are responsible for its results including "thousands and thousands" of Palestinians killed. If and when the number of dead Palestinians will satisfy those still alive they will ask for peace.

The bad thing about this deal is that most of them being released are in there for terrorist activity or support thereof against Israel. Makes a lot of sense, huh ?

To me, this goes to show that Israel value one life, enough to trade many to spare him. That impresses me.
President Obama will soon send more troops to Africa and save the starving children and we will have all the diamonds and oil you greedy people need. But that will never be enough for the Godless sinners that are ruining Jesus world.

If you love Israel, you love Arabs. Arabs account for 25% of Israel's population. If you love Jerusalems skyline, then you love it's most outstanding feature, the muslim 'Dome on the Rock' mosque. If you love diamonds and weapons of war, then you love Israel's main exports. And if you love Jesus, you do not love jews who do not even believe Jesus was a prophet! Muslims do though.

According to UN figures:
Israelis killed by Palestinians since Sept.29,2000 number 1084 and children 124.
Palestinians killed at the hands of Israelis during the same period number 6'430 & children 1'452.
There are over 7000 Palestinians languishing in Israeli jails. And according to the Israeli Org No Legal Frontiers which monitors military courts, these prisoners include teenagers.
The world watches.
