Kenya vows to hit Al-Shabaab across Somali border

Kenyan troops are pursuing suspected Islamic militants from al-Shabaab across the border into Somalia, Kenyan government spokesman Alfred Mutua told CNN Sunday.

The move marks a dramatic shift in security tactics for the east African powerhouse, which is evoking the United Nations charter allowing military action in self-defense against its largely lawless neighbor.

"If you are attacked by an enemy, you have the pursue that enemy through hot pursuit and to try hit wherever that enemy is," said Yusuf Haji, in a news conference aired on CNN affiliate NTV.

    No, snuff is not a good thing. But plenty of people think it's the cats meow.
    Yes, finer than frog hair used to be one of my favorite sayings.
    But lets try this one out.
    If I was any finer, you'd be able to see right through me.

    Al-Shabaab is a "spin-off" of al-Qaeda & has basically occupied Somalia, killing its citizens, who have fled in droves to nearby Kenya! This is the kind of terror that, left unchecked, will leave the world in a lawless shambles! Look at what they have accomplished in Somalia! Kenya has the right to defend themselves, lest they end up like their terror inflicted neighbor!@ bobcat2u, please tell me you were being sarcastic, with that odious crack about Obama!?

    Has it ever occurred to anyone here that Obama's big vendetta against the Muslims just may stem from the fact that his own father was a Muslim born in Kenya and left the family when Barack was still a child? It did to me. That's why we're so aggressively pursuing to Muslims since Obama wants to do all he can do to hurt Islam whereas G.W. Bush did it purely for money!

    I like Yusuf Hajis words :"when you're attacked by an enemy you have to persue.... & hit that enemy wherever he is!" Let's contrast that to bloggers accusing our government of "coldblooded murder" when we go after our enemies, namely al-Qaeda! Thanks Mr. Haji for that lesson in defense!!
