Italian PM cleared in tax fraud case

A Milan judge on Tuesday cleared Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi of charges of tax fraud and misappropriation of funds related to his commercial broadcast company, Mediaset, a prosecutor said.

Berlusconi's son, Pier Silvio Berlusconi, and  Mediaset Chairman Fedele Confalonieri were indicted in the case, according to prosecutor Fabio De Pasquale.

Company executives have been under investigation for allegedly failing to pay $45 million in corporate taxes and other fiscal crimes from 2000 to 2003.

This Italian PM has been cleared just as most Americans have been for years. The FBI is simply too busy to investigate every single case of welfare, medical, tax, military entytlement, food stamp, snall business, and etc. fraud. 9/11 was partially blamed on the lack of cooperation between the CIA's domestic division and the FBI's, so Congress mandated that these agaencies cooperate. So the CIA moved their domestic affairs div. to Denver, and will soon be using their approved-of enhanced interrogation technoques on Americans who have been defrauding US and thereby defrauding their neighbors...adding to our economic woes.

If YOU have been defrauding US, there is still time to come-clean and start paying US back what you have been stealing. Wether you are simply defrauding the welfare system or if you are an MD who has been prescribing drugs for profit, there is yet time to turn around. I recommend you firstly cease from your fraudulent behavior, and then make arrangements with Uncle Sam to begin paying back what you have stolen. The CIA has their own special way of getting you to tell the truth, and their enhanced interrogation techniques have already been approved by the majority. I wouldn't wait too long though if I were you.

@Tony...make it legal because everyone [assuming you meant a significant number of US] is doing it? That's what we did for abortion, sodomy, and marijuanna and look at US now...fat, broke, and addicted to all sorts of dangerous street drugs and pharmaceuticals. That isn't working, obviously. The CIA will be putting a stop to our loose conduct. And even if you yourself are not guilty, anyone who loves this land will at LEAST help their neighbors to understand what the CIA must do. Who want's to see their own neighbors and family whom may be defrauding our system be interrogated by the CIA knowing the techniques they use? Not I, and so I have looked into this deeply and am trying to warn even those whom consider me to be their enemy.

@banasy...exactly. Certain government officials and the giant corporations they are in bed with will and have been exempt from CIA scrutiny and must remain so. If we bring-down the major corporations or even attempt to bring-down our government, the largest "recession/depression" in history would happen. We know these men and corporations are crooked! But that's no excuse for US citizens to join with them anymore than is absolutly necessarry to sustain our own families. I know it sucks that the CIA will be going after citizens while leaving our leaders alone. That's just the way it is.

I wonder just how much this judge was paid to let this bozo off. If one has enough money, they can do whatever they feel like. This Berlusconi values nothing and knows no morals! Again I say, better Mussolini than Berlusconi.
